Steemit a Facebook Killer ( and my intro about steem)
I really believe in the whole steemit philosophy. Complete freedom of speech, no advertisements ( And getting some extra dollars with every post you made is very welcome )
I don't know about your opinion but I’m fed up with talking about something and then it unexpectedly appears on your news feed, it’s almost like google is reading your mind.
If you get some time then check out some interviews with the founders of Steem as it’s very clear it’s not everything about money @NedScott and @DanLarimer, They wanted a decentralized world that we can only dream about at this moment.
I have taken the time to write this article and I am going to start spreading about Steem around my friends at Facebook, Instagram in fact at every social media website as Steemit is growing very fast.
I don’t think most people care about block-chains and crypto but if they realize that they will get rewarded for good and genuine content they will be on board and will realize the usefulness of Steem.

I don't think Steemit will be the death of Facebook anymore than Reddit, G+, Twitter, etc ... killed any other platform.
I do feel that Steemit is a wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about interesting topics while generating revenue for bringing quality posts to the forefront.
As for ads, they have a time and place. I actually don't mind the infrequent well placed ad about something that interests me. Even though it was paid for, it gives me an avenue to explore something I might otherwise not have.
