I hope all of you are doing well and having a safe and sound time. To me , shining in my own light means being confident and sure of who you are and what you have. It’s not about success or achievement; it's more about confidence and self-reliance. Even if what you have is little, if you are satisfied, confident, and grateful, you will shine. You don’t need to add extra things to shine.
I’m here to share my thoughts on this very thoughtful topic of engagement: “Shining with Your Own Light.” I would like to invite my Steemian friends @msharif, @eliany, and @waterjoe to share their perceptions too.
Do you feel there are opportunities or occasions where you think your brightness deserves to stand out more than that of others?

I am a shining star, a mother of a little bundle of joy .
Yes, definitely, I feel so. I know what I am and what I was. If I got more opportunities, I could shine more without any doubt. But I intentionally quit my better opportunities and possibilities. When I became a mother, all my heart was with my baby. I chose motherhood because I believe every time has its beauty, and trying to be a good mother can beat anything. I chose this beauty and want to shine in the beauty of motherhood.
Knowing how brilliant you are, would you be able to turn off your light a little to give someone else the opportunity to shine at an appropriate time? How and why would you do it?

She is the source of my confidence. and my satisfaction.
Yes, I did. As I mentioned, despite being capable enough and having many possibilities, I quit my career and my job for the sake of my baby. Many might say my baby became my obstacle, but I would say a big no. I chose this, and I want to enjoy my motherhood and shine as a mother. To me, nothing in the world is more beautiful than that, and I’m enjoying it.
The Hawaiian squid does not shine on its own; it needs the help of others to achieve this. In your case, have there been people who have helped you shine or grow?

My supportive family always there by my side .
Yes. Achieving anything is not easy, even in the case of motherhood. Being a perfect mother is not easy. You need support because motherhood is a stressful job. You have to be dedicated to your child 24/7. I can give my full dedication to my daughter because my whole family stands beside me, especially my husband. Despite his job and other responsibilities, he always stands with me. He is the source of my shine. Without his and my family’s support, motherhood would be difficult.
Fireflies emit light to attract a partner, but with your qualities and virtues, did you manage to have the desired partner, or do you continue to emit light to find him or her?

No, I didn’t try to impress anyone. Rather, I try to fulfill my responsibilities to him with true love and affection. I know I love him, and my deeds are the evidence of my love for him. If my love, affection, and responsibility towards him can’t attract him, then I don’t want to attract him artificially. Luckily, my man is so understanding and well-groomed by his family that he doesn’t need anything except my true love. That is our commitment to each other. To him, how I am and who I am is enough to love me.
In conclusion, shining with your own light is about being confident, grateful, and self-reliant. It is about appreciating the beauty in the choices we make and the roles we play. Whether it's in our careers , relationships , or personal growth we all have the potential to shine brightly, not by adding extra, but by embracing and enhancing what we already have. Let's celebrate our unique lights and support each other in shining even brighter.

Being a mother is not an easy task in life. The sacrifices you made due to your motherhood are commendable. And no doubt this will bring sweet fruit for you in terms of your children's success.. In answering the last question you mentioned that you don't need to impress your partner, rather it is affection and sincerity of you that helps you to build a healthy relationship. السلام علیکم کیا حال ہیں امید کرتا ہوں اپ خیریت سے ہوں گے ماں کی ممتا ایسی چیز ہوتی ہے جو سب کچھ قربان کر دیتی ہے اپنے بچوں کے لیے ہمارے اپنے ایریا میں اتنی خواتین ہیں جن کے اندر بہت حد تک ٹیلنٹ ہوتا ہے اور وہ اوپر ا سکتی ہیں لیکن وہ جب شادی شدہ ہو جاتی ہیں اور ماں بن جاتی ہیں تو وہ پھر ہاؤس وائف بن کر ہی رہ جاتی ہیں اور اپنے بچوں کے ساتھ ہی خوش رہتی ہیں بچوں کو بھی ماں کا پیار چاہیے ہوتا ہے اور ماں بھی اپنے بچوں کے بغیر نہیں رہ سکتی
