Happy Mother's Day & please welcome our new @SteemPh lead
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there.
Mother's Day to me is all about celebrating not just mothers who have brought us into this world but also those figures in our lives who have nurtured us, supported us and helped us grow.
As I settle into my second trimester I can't help but think about the future of my families; my family here in Australia and my @SteemPh family and with it all the things that need to be considered in order to move both successfully forward.
With my focus elsewhere and huge life changes underway I felt this special day would be the perfect time to hand over the @SteemPh reigns to an incredible woman ~ one who is so deserving of the lead position and one who has shown their passion for the community time and time again.
Please welcome our new @SteemPh lead, Nanay @Romeskie
Her commitment to the Filipino community, steadfast belief in the Steem blockchain and the @SteemPh family has been inspiring and commendable and I truly cannot think of a more worthy person to pass the reigns on to as I begin my new journey.
There will be more changes in the coming weeks as we ease into the hand over.
Existing @SteemPh Core (@bearone, @imma.rojas, @dreamiely, @luvabi, @grazz, @deveerei) will now move into Founder positions in honour of their service and work in establishing @SteemPh, while new @SteemPh core members will be selected and announced in the coming weeks.
Despite all the changes one thing will always remain the same and that is our strict NO POWER DOWN policy that Rome and I have discussed and wholeheartedly agree on.
@SteemPh Steem Power has and always will belong to the community to support the current and future generations.
As I step down and leave you all to @romeskie's very capable hands, I want to thank you all for your support and love these last few years.
Being head of the SteemPh Family has been a great learning experience and incredible honour. We achieved so much and none of it would have been possible without everyone's hard work and dedication, Thank you all ❤
