How to optimize your COFFEE

If you are like me you love a good cup of coffee in the morning. My favorite part of coffee is the caffeine! I also like the smell, the taste and of course, the caffeine!. Caffeine is my favorite❣️
Today I'd like to share the beautiful way to optimize your morning coffee. I have been doing this for some time and I don't see myself going back to just regular coffee.
This recipe is often called bullet proof coffee. There are many different variables on this recipe, like substituting coconut oil for butter but today I'll be sharing my version of it.
Before I go on, I'd like to list some of the benefits of drinking coffee:
-Studies show that most people get more antioxidants from coffee than fruits and vegetables.
-Caffeine stimulates the nervous system, causing it to send signals to the fat cells to break down body fat.
-Caffeine makes the fat cells break down body fat, releasing them into the blood as free fatty acids and making them available as fuel.
-Some studies also revealed that coffee drinkers have a much lower risk of developing Parkinson's disease, with a reduction in risk ranging from 32-60%.
-Coffee may protect against cirrhosis. People who drink 4 or more cups per day have up to an 80% lower risk.
-A Harvard study published in 2011 showed that women who drank 4 or more cups per day had a 20% lower risk of becoming depressed.
-Also, caffeine blocks an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain, which leads to a stimulant effect. This improves energy levels, mood and various aspects of brain function.

In this recipe, we add coconut oil, cocoa powder and honey.. Here are the benefits:
Coconut oil has MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) which results in accelerated metabolic conversion. When added to your coffee, it helps to efficiently convert the MCTs into fuel for immediate use by the body. Coconut oil is also known to help boost the immune system due to its fatty acids.
One of the main factors of cocoa powder is magnesium, which helps produce energy. Cocoa powder is also rich in iron, which helps make red blood cells and is also essential for your immune system.
Honey is a great way to substitute for sugar. Some of the benefits of honey are aid to lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol. Honey is also high in antioxidants and it also helps maintain energy.
Now onto the recipe❣️ You will need: honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder, milk(I use 2%), coffee.
Start by brewing your favorite coffee❣️
Once your coffee is hot, add:
-2 tablespoons of honey (or more) as desired.
-1 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
-1 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder
-milk (to taste)
And then...stir it up❣️
....and enjoy❣️
