Steemit Engagement Challenge|| Season2, Week4|| My work life and Steemit

Hello to everyone in this great community known as the Steemit Azerbaijan I welcome you all to a great week and also to a wonderful contest that has been organized by the steemit engagement team in collaboration with the contest team of this community. today I will be dropping my entry regarding the contest that has been scheduled in this community which has been tagged my work life and steemit. I urge you all to relax and sit tight as I drop my entry.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORK LIFE?

First thing first, it is important that I talk about what I do for a living. I am a businessman and as such as sell bags and boxes of all kinds. I own a shop and my work life has just been great although stressful because often time I go to work as early as 5:am in the morning and return by 7:pm at night. so that has been my daily routine. sometimes whenever I imagined the stress at work I would just want to stay back home but how do I get to put food on the table if I don't work? so sometimes many thoughts will just run over my brain but I just have to keep going.

In a nutshell, my work life is a kind of stressful but I enjoy it as though I get to meet other business individuals, and then we likely discuss certain issues and that has been the order of my day and at night I retreat to my house after working hours.

DO YOU LIKE YOUR JOB?

Yes, I sure do. I like my job so much because I am the boss of me. no one gets to order me around and no one gets to determine when and how I am expected to do things in my work. as a businessman, I get to make certain decisions on my own. I have seen cases where people are working tirelessly and are still shouted upon. there was this day I went to visit my friend at his place of work and I noticed his boss was all mad at him, so when I noticed that I quickly went back and we could not see that day.

I chose to be a businessman because I have worked for someone before and I know how it feels to be controlled because of money. I know how it feels to be when one boss someone around, especially we get to see certain individuals controlling their workers and bossing them around, commanding them and telling them what to do and what not to do. so without all those stress, I can't deal. indeed I like my job so much, as a businessman, I decided my opening hour and my closing hours, when to come to shop and when to take a break. so don't just like it, but I love it.

CAN YOU MAKE TIME AT WORK FOR STEEMIT?

Yes, I can. often I go to work with my laptop to work on steemit. as a businessman that is the privilege I have, I can work and do other things hence it is my business and not for another. with this I get to work on steemit whenever I am less busy, that is whenever customers are yet to come patronizing me. whenever they come, I will just go and attend to them and Immediately after I am finished with them I will then continue what I was doing on the platform.

So my work is not that tedious to stop me from working, I sure make time for steemit whenever I am at my store since I don't get to be ordered around and no rules and regulations concerning my business as though I get to determine what is expected to be seen and what is not to. so the time for steemit is always there and that is why I post every day on this great platform.

COULD STEEMIT BE YOUR FIRST JOB?

Well, I just got to know about the steemit platform not quite long and then I started my business. truth be told steemit is my second job because my first job is my business. one can not just rely on steemit forever but one can rely on businesses. steemit is indeed a great platform that has offered many people a lifetime job opportunity but in case of eventualities what will then happen.

One has to look for another job to be doing alongside steemit, with that the equation will be balanced. I just returned from my business place not quite long and then I decided to log in and perform this task. so steemit could be my first job if I was never doing anything initially but then I only merge the steemit platform with my work to get equilibrium in making a living.

Also, the steemit platform could be my first job if everything was going well but as we get to see the priice of all cryptocurrencies going down, it is so disheartening. the price of a steem in naira is quite not encouraging and as such many have to look for an alternative in other to make earnings. so the price of steem and cryptocurrency, in general, is the reason why I can not make steemit my second first job. but if at all we notice an uptrend in the price of a cryptocurrency then this question will be answered in a better way.

HOW IS YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION?

Well, I bless God at least I am doing fine. for the fact that I can get my daily needs and carter for myself and my siblings, I will say I am okay. I do want more and that is why I opted in for business as I get to make sales regularly. I do not have to wait for month end to get a penny. I am not buoyant enough but I am doing just fine. that is why I opted into this platform in other to diversify my income from the reward we get from this platform.

That is why it is my second job. often when I lack customers to buy my goods in a day, I make judicious use of that day to great a qualitative content on this platform so that I can equally get rewarded for my work and as such I get to earn that day although not necessarily that one gets votes as though it is not guaranteed but luck may shine on me that I can then get curation from the article I make here.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO TURN THE STEEMIT PLATFORM INTO YOUR WORKPLACE?

Well, capital is the main thing that I need to make this come true. without funds, the above question can not come through. if there is constant support from this platform, making steemit my new workplace will never be a problem I do not have to tell people about the steemit platform, they by themselves will come asking about the steemit platform.

You know when you tell people about how profitable a particular thing is to you, they will want to see the result of that thing in your life. so support is the main thing that needs to turn the steemit platform into my workplace. as votes are not guaranteed, it will be very difficult to do such. yes, the platform is a great one, but if votes are constant, everything will be perfect. imagine a worker working for an organization where salaries are not guaranteed? it will be difficult for that worker to continue. so the only thing that can make me turn the steemit platform into my workplace is when I see that support is sure and given equally.
