I am here once again with another interesting topic regarding the digital currency world and this time, we will be talking about the said topic PHISHING SCAM AND WHAT IT ENTAILS. I know some of you in here may not be familiar with what the above topic is, and as such, I am here to give a breakdown regarding the affirmation topic.

I urge you all to sit tight and relax while I begin the discussion for today. I wish you a happy reading as I begin the discussion for today.

Before I go straight to discussing today's teaching, I will like to explain what the trem TRAP PHISHING is all about in other to widen our understanding and help us to understand the concept of today's topic.

WHAT IS TRAP PHISHING?

The phrase phishing scam is regarded as the scenario whereby certain individuals known as hackers, eventually create certain links with code and these links are dangerous and are a threat to our keys and passwords.

When these links get clicked by a user, automatically, that user is being directed to another server and once that happens, the culprits or hackers as the case may be, will get access to the user's wallet key, especially the private key. With that, the assets in the wallet of such user can be looted aways since the private key is being compromised.

The trap phishing are created in form of links and from a random user, telling you to click the link is you want to get high rewards especially when they notice that you are a newbie. This also happens to old user as nothing is inevitable.

They always come with mouth watering offer just to lure users in clicking the trap phishing links they have set, and once a user clicks it, automatically, the hackers gain access to their wallet private key.

We have seen scenarios regarding the trap phishing links, most especially on newbies articles. The unknown users seek to get users attention towards clicking the phishing links and when they eventually do, their private key is then compromised and it is almost impossible to retrieve such password back as the wallet will now be controlled by the hackers or those responsible for the said trap phishing.

Many cases of trap phishing has been recorded and seen on this platform. Steemit was built on a decentralized platform and we all know the key word Not your keep, not your crypto. We all have access to our wallet password, as such these passwords can not be guessed by another user.

Aside the fact that we were told not to give our keys out, and also to write it down and save on both on the cloud and on our devices, we as crypto enthusiasts should know that it is not save to click on random links from unknown users or people we are not familiar with.

Doing that alone is another way of losing your keys because the intentions of those engaging in trap phishing is to do away with users hard earned funds in their wallet.

So with that, it is not advisable to see a link or links from random users and then begin to click on them because it might be a trap phishing link, and if you do, your private key may eventually be compromised, and when that happens, sooner or later you will find out that you can no longer access your wallet.

CONCLUSION

Trap phishing is the order of the day and this trap phishing is mostly carried out by users who are just out here to steal funds which they do not work for from hard working individuals. We need to be extremely careful and take caution about this for it is seen almost everywhere and this occurs everyday.
