KADUNA STATE, ZARIA SUCCESSFUL MEET-UP REPORT

Hello to everyone in this great community today. I welcome you to an amazing weekend and to yet another meet-up here in my country Nigeria.

As we all know, today is the day that has been set aside for all city coordinators to conduct a meet up with steemians in our various respective cities and as such I have managed to call on the various steemians in my location to have a meeting regarding the steemit platform.

It was a wonderful discussion that we heard and I will intimate us on the success of the discussion below.

The meet-up was conducted in my family house as though I am the host of the meet-up in my location which is known as Kaduna state, Zaria city to be precise.

The steemians living around Zaria came for the meet-up and we had several discussions regarding the steemit platform. We talked about why certain users have powered down and are yet to return, we talked about increasing of engagement in the platform and we also talked about the reward system in the platform.

As we can see certain users such as @preshy101, @gidsbrown, and @samuelebuka well spotted in the camera. These are users that were once dedicated in the steemit platform and through which they have learned many things from the steemit platform and not just the reward.

Here are also some friends I invited for the meet-up to promote the steemit platform to them so that they can also come into the system to benefit from what we are benefiting from. So we had several discussions regarding the platform.

The users lamented on a particular issues regarding a community that they had found good vibes in and became part of the community but not until the community powered down and they were left with no choice than to exit the platform.

@gidsbrown and @samuelebuka were good subscribers of the Business activity community in which I was the one who encouraged them to join since I was also a subscriber when the community was still functioning.

They are good business tycoons. @gidsbrown is a business man who sells provisions and other home need products, while @samuelebuka is a barber who cut hair. These two users were so good especially in the business activity community but when the community powered down, it was now difficult for them to write in another community since they are good in business related contents.

Eventually when the engagement started they all participated but with a low reputation they got discouraged and powered their earnings and left the platform.

Their major complain is that they were hardly noticed by the curators and as such they got discouraged. And so I told them to stay put and keep the fire burning again. We talked on how they could return to the platform again to begin engagement and rekindle the glowing splint.

I gave them a word of encouragement and showed them how much I have gained the the steemit platform. I showed them how this platform has helped my writing skills, my business and also my financial stability.

So with that they picked interest again and decided to return. So to seal this encouragement I told them to buy some liquid steem so that they can have steem to power up and become a member of #club5050 in other to start engaging again and they were all happy about that decision.

The rest of my friends said they will come to me for their registration after the have seen progress regarding the returnees in the platform and I concur. Seeing is believing and as such I won't force anyone to join.

Afterwards, we went to an eatery close by to have some snacks. All thanks to the @steemit-team for the distribution of the TRX reward. It was with my TRX reward that I used to sponsor the meet-up and this covers the transportation and the light refreshment we had.

Currently I am pleased to announce to the house that my newest recruit in person of @first-timers is currently doing well and has also invited another user in to the platform in person of @sheidu-sudais. So you can see that we are growing through our promotion.

CONCLUSION

This meeting ended at the eatery. As soon as we finished eating, we all left to our various locations to continue with the activities of the day.

Later I then joined the online meeting that was organized by @goodybest and several coordinators were present at the meeting such as @josepha, @simonnwigwe, and @fredquantum too. Other steemians from other zones were equally present at the meeting. @starrchris also cheered the meet-up regarding his zone. It was indeed a wonderful meet-up.
