Its been a while since I talked about Steemfest 3...my gosh 2 months ago..how did that even happen!
Anyway for those of you who follow me on here you will probably know I don't believe in not having goals or moving always forward, having something to go after, and so with the previous Steem goal already accomplished which I thank all those who voted on me and made buying my mom's birthday gift a reality.

While I have many others goals to look forward to if the title didn't give it away my next goal would obviously be Steemfest 3.

I actually attended the 2nd Steemfest event in Lisbon 2017 and wow guys I prefer to call it a "amazing experience" rather than say it was a event, it was definitely a very exclusive experience just like @roelandp promised and wanted.

If @roelandp could top off the experience I had in Portugal "which is really not necessary" to make SF3 a success I would indeed be in disbelief as it was a fantastic highly recommended time I had back in Lisbon 2017.
If you dont know @roelandp he is the main Steemfest organiser and a witness right here on the Steem blockchain.
Above is a picture of me and @roelandp at another event this was not at Steemfest2 but hope to get another at SF3.

Anyway the point is I would like to be able to attend Steemfest3 that is my goal right now.

If you don't know the event is being held in Poland, Krakow during the beginning of November.

The last Steemfest event I was only able to attend because of upvotes and donations from other Steemians which I am still very grateful for to this very day.

I had a few discussions with some friends of mine and most told me and were fully convinced since the event is being held in Poland everything would be cheaper and I had "to not worry about expenses".
My reaction to this was I told them "not necessarily" as there are many many factor to take into consideration.

I knew this already from just common sense and having some understanding on how Steemit works event prices can indeed vary.
But I also remember having a conversation with @roelandp about the previous Steemfest 2 in Lisbon and he highlighted many other things I didn't even consider, so thank you for that @roelandp

Anyway it turns out I was right and the ticket price this time around is more expensive then the previous year.
This does make it more difficult to get the money needed ready for the event, regardless of this I wont be giving up on trying to get the funds needed to make it this year.

And right now while I love the fact that its easier to buy into Steem increasing the SP of your account its devastating for gaining any real funds to help get myself to the Steemfest3 event.

The thing is you just never know when the price could suddenly change I will keep on trying but unfortunately a price rise didn't happen this time around which was not very surprising.

And so.. where am I now with getting to Steemfest3?... I mean there is just over a week left to go.... yikes!

Well firstly if you didn't know I have a Steemfest 3 ticket I also managed to get booked into a hotel so accommodation is already all paid for.

I done this in a different order this year which made me nervous about it because I still had to get confirmation from work on whether I could get the time off and they are normally not too keen on having staff away from November.
Like I mentioned before I get on very well with the lady who deals with all the "holiday requests" but I was devastated to find out she was leaving in very sort notice.

I thought right away I need to book these holidays before she leaves or I will have no chance on going to SF3.
It seemed almost like a miracle that my request reached her on her very last shift and that she actually decided to deal with it before leaving as most people don't really give a "monkeys" when they are about to leave a company.

So I was either lucky because it was "me" and she decided to do it "knowing well" that I would probably never get it off by the time the request reaches her replacement.
Or she did this because she wanted all of her work affairs to be in order before departing for good and not leaving the workload for the next person in line.

She will be missed...

Regardless I'am happy to have got the time off needed to attend Steemfest3 and so for the remainder of the time I was trying to get the money for my plain ticket.

I was lucky enough to enter and be chosen as a winner from a competition from @silviabeneforti and family which helped me already cover a good amount of the money needed for my plain ticket, yes there are still seats available.

I am waiting for some money to come in from work but I am not sure if its enough to purchase the plane ticket so yeah if anybody can give any extra upvotes for making this happen again it will be much appreciated.

Also thanks again to everybody who made it possible the last time which was literally by the skin of one's teeth

Also if you are attending and I am lucky enough to be there I will see you at the party!
