Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 25/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to some image hunting, article reading, and getting off call late with friends. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, not much but I think it was mostly stress related. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this didn't surprise me as I was tired from work and getting up earlier. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired, because usually I'm not going to sleep early enough and this morning it felt the same. I rested past the the alarm for a little longer than I should but it was a good attempt to try and improve the sleep pattern. For the weather this morning it's returned to being dark, cloudy and miserable looking, which I guess I expected after yesterday as it was surprisingly bright and even hot if under the sun. Temperature wise I'm glad it returned to being just about comfortable as yesterday was initially cold, well until the sun came out later to warm us up. I think it's the cooler temperature in general that is making waking-up even more difficult. It was still a good start time this morning, I didn't have work to get in for and so that was great for getting on with chores. However I had today off for a particular reason and that is to get ready for the event this weekend with friends. But I do really need to be working right now to be earning some much needed money to combat all the cost of birthdays, events and some of the costs from having had my father over visiting. I wanted recently to see if I could get some more Steem, it's been a while since having that opportunity to fund our token. Unfortunately I was dealing with the same crap from before my travels, but the other day I got some responses from the sellers who apparently for the moment are not able to make certain trades due to some liquidation issues. I even managed to get from them when to expect to be able to get the trades running again. They told me it was estimated to be in about 1 week, well I guess I will wait now until after this weekend event is over in hopes of funding some more Steem after. When I got to work yesterday I mentioned how it was honestly beginning to feel more like a construction site which they did warn us would happen. I admit I didn't exactly expect it to be that bad but was glad it was improved by a lot yesterday. They "our own staff" wanted certain things done but were always in the way or if not they wanted me out of the way "when I was trying to do what they had just requested"!. This was the fault of the superiors as they had all us staff in one tiny area which was not necessary and it was driving me mad. On the day my boss turned up later to pretend like he as any choice in the matter on how the builders were setting the place up. I had heard whispers that he's boss will be in next week so he can too pretend that he as any authority over how exactly the builders do things. Later however what caught me off guard was suddenly he's bosses were in "yes the ones who were suppose to only turn up next week"! I heard them giving my boss their typical big man speeches about how it would of been better if things were done like this and like that. But it was them in the first place who forced him to do all this and to follow their way of doing things, most of these people have me so baffled on how they even got their high paying jobs in the first place, they are not smart they just comply really well. Anyway I done what I could to avoid their unsuspected visit, I was happy to get out of there. Also I have been very glad to still not be dealing with any financial stuff, likely this won't happen yet for the week and if I'm really lucky until next year😁. Regardless I'm always happy to have one more shift on my floor. I took a little longer getting home as I went to the shops to buy snacks, these are for one of the event days after it's over. My hope was that by getting them yesterday there would be no reason for me to have to go out today giving myself plenty of time to prepare for the event weekend. As for the quick work-outs I decided to not get one done today because I don't want to accidentally over do it and be in pain for the weekend event with friends. I met with friends online too where all turned up just some very late and so didn't exactly make good progress. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, I didn't checked to see if my father had sent anything as it was too late, and then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the "Community Curators" for November as now opened up it's applications process. I was also shocked to discover that our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have disappeared, and this was a long with all the funds it had in there. I learnt that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet as a whole. I assumed that the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, I think it's important to repeat this because some users are going to be wondering what the hell is going on. Also if you agree with me keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking to for the return the TRX Wallet on Steemit TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
