Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 23/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further but maybe it won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this season which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was surprising since I was out with friends but they too had to cut the fun sort as they had work very early in the morning. Still I could of done a little better but I can't blame the cat as she moved to resting on a box instead of me by that late time, instead of going earlier I done a few things to try and clear space. When I did try to reach slumber there was some difficulty to sleep, this was like the other night I didn't know what it was at first but I'm betting on stress. While I had a great day with friends I still wasn't particularly happy about not being able to get Steem, there was also still trying to organise a trip to see my father with very limited time frames due to my boss. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, which is how I want it to be and last week I almost managed the full week without waking up before it. The alarm was set for the in-between hours I usually wake-up to this is also to try and get my routine back on track which I will need to as I discovered that next week I got those very horrible early morning shifts again. I rested past the alarm for longer than I wanted but glad I rested more. As for the weather this morning unlike yesterday where it was dark and trying to rain the whole day it's instead a mostly clear blue sky with the sun trying very much to be seen. However there are a few dark clouds around and I think since yesterday it was so bad it's likely it might get cloudy later. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, I thought it would be chilly this morning but it's actually just fine. Since I had to be in work further into the day the late start was not much of a problem but I did have chores and I wanted to get done and the possibility of booking everything I need to visit my father. While doing chores my boss started to send me messages telling me I would need to stay in work later, this wouldn't really bother me if I had the bookings planed and paid for plus my bills. When my free time was up I went for a quick and small breakfast, before leaving I changed, next got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work I have been noticing that someone as been digging around certain plants, this is in the area where they cut down all the green space where the animals would use it to hide in. Thankfully it's all mostly grown back but someone as been trying to dig-up some of the flowers to which I assume is to either stop that particular flower from growing again "which would be odd" or they are trying to transport the flower to their own garden. Sadly it seems they were successful as those flowers seem to have gone missing, my hope is the surviving roots can regrow it's plant again. It was nice and comfortable out even with more sun today it didn't make it any warmer. Arriving to work I noticed the guy who as taken over from doing the extra work, since my boss phoned and warned me earlier about staying for a longer this shift I assume this was due to the extra work. So I asked the guy who deals with it if there was a lot for us to get done today? Well kind of like how I expected I didn't really get an answer which is why I don't particularly like working with him, communication seems like a problem sometimes. Others quickly gave me a much clear answer and of course I looked at the stats myself when I had time. It didn't seem like it was going to take much longer until the work would be ready so I didn't bother with any of the weekly tasks. I wasn't wrong while it took slightly longer than I expected it wasn't worth getting into any other major tasks. The extra work was indeed a lot but I didn't think it would be too difficult of a task but it seems it was a lot more complicated than I thought as the guy who deals with it barely gave my part of the team any support today. Not sure if that was on purpose or if there was generally problems. Towards the end he was helping us but it honestly didn't seem like there was a chance it would be compilated. However I was wrong due to some great efforts and I think giving myself a bad headache we somehow actually managed to get everything completed. I think the other team may of surprisingly failed but at least we had it all done on our end. I was sure glad when it was time to get our of there as not only was I tired but this headache was getting worse. On the way home I was hoping the fresh air would help get this headache gone but no such luck, I was surprised how light it still was out as the past 2 days by this time it was nightfall. When I got home it was already late and so no time for getting any chores done. I found some amazing deals yesterday for travel but didn't book it all as I have not had yet 100% confirmation from work. Later I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father was trying to phone me while checking in with friends who are holidaying and then settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's of any good use to me.
