Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 10/1/2024
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 7 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 10/1/2024.

January 2024 We have moved on to a new year, and now already a week in, not sure how you are feeling about the new 2024 year but for the first few days of January I felt mostly positive. However most seem to forget who really knows what 2024 will bring.. there are always going to be unpleasant times ahead something most people don't seem to think about when celebrating. And I don't know if you have noticed lately but the world seems to be going towards a bad place with promises or war everywhere, economies falling and disease. Also I admit the Steem price as left me a little disappointed as it should be holding well at $0.25, however we do need to remember that this means opportunity to buy cheap, and if a correction for a run up at some point is around the corner then that would be a great treat. But regardless of how you see things I wish you a ✨Happy New Year🥂 for 2024! ✨ 🥂 ✨. The new year as not exactly started as I would of liked either.. I already explained the Steem price but also the other day while I was online with friends I continued to feel worse and worse from what appeared to be that I had caught the flu earlier on that day. I went to sleep feeling unwell mostly a sore throat is what irritated me most. The following morning I was feeling much better from what seemed like only a 2 day flu "I wish" as this was sadly not the case at all and once again that night I started to feel real bad, weak, cold chills and like I had been hit by a truck. I fell in and out of sleep for the next few days, got lots of rest, but for all the rest I had it was disappointing the lack of improvement from this flu. Still after about 4 days I wanted to start trying to get my sleeping pattern and general schedule back in order. Since yesterday I do actually feel a lot better now, enough that I can finally see a end coming to this dam flu. Last night I went to sleep near the usual late hour which is a good sign that I'm getting better, but I don't want to be going that late to sleep lol. There was also this annoying plane that kept flying around near the house late last night, and at one point it did seem to cut off my internet connection for the night, so I went to sleep, but a coincidence I wonder or was it related. Of course this morning was difficult to get out of bed as I rested longer to make up not only for the late night but also for recovering from this flu. I had work put smack in the middle of the day which was not ideal to get much of anything done in the morning or on my return, and so leading me to almost being late this morning. It continues to be very cold today however it at least looked nice out with lots of bright sunshine. Going into work was very cold, how are people suppose to get better of flu if they have to keep going out in such cold weather to get to work.. When I arrived in work I expected to be late but instead still had a few extra minutes to go, I saw one of my colleagues who said there wasn't much work to be done and that if I was still there later when the extra work is ready that even that shouldn't be a problem. He was right and so I enjoyed a easy day except that later it got bloody cold on my floor again, I'm a bit confused as to why because the door to the plant balcony area is shut. After work I went shopping for the things I regretted not getting yesterday, as I was just doing price checks on a few goods. But gosh things just keep going up in price, it's ridiculous and it's only the beginning of the year. I was very sad the other day that it was the last shift of one of my colleagues, she's a real sweet girl and would make a great friend outside of work but she is apparently leaving to try and move on with her medical studies as she received news that she was able to get a position in med school. There was similar news also as one of our superiors will be leaving soon which in one way is good but it's also a worry, what if someone else worse get's in.. To finish up let's hope the Steem API is already fixed tonight, also still the replies page isn't loading past the first page.
