Sir James Dyson just made a fool of the EU and won!

Okay, so I read a article this morning, interestingly written by a member of the house of lords (UK). Who states clearly in his headline this = "Dyson’s five-year legal battle reveals the crony capitalist corruption at the heart of the EU." The fact that a lord would be calling the EU crony capitalists is not lost on me, and quite a refreshing surprise.

It seems if you want proof of Germany's power or clout over the EU, and it being more than just a state member like every other country, then you look no further than his article. It proves beyond reasonable doubt, that Germany has taken control of the EU without a bomb being dropped, and Brussels who are supposed to run the EU are nothing more than puppets!.

By lobbying "EU MEP's" as stated in the article, German vacuum cleaner producers, changed a law that requires a vacuum to be tested under normal operating conditions. Which requires dust, grit etc. They lobbied (bribed) German MEP's and other MEP's (politicians) to scrap that requirement and test them with clean air. All because the German vacuum making industry make machines with bags, and as bags also blow dust out, and become less efficient as the bag gets clogged up, they changed the test to clean air. The categories rated on the machines are "overall energy rating, rated A to G, with A being best and G being worst; annual energy usage: in kWh; the amount of dust in air emitted from the machine’s exhaust (A to G); the noise level in decibels; how much dust the machine picks up from carpets (A to G); and how much dust the machine picks up from hard floors and crevices (A to G)." The better the rating, the more people buy the machine.

Washing machines are tested under normal conditions, as are fridges and everything else, so why not a vacuum? Bags you see bags!

We all know how the German automotive industry cheated the whole world with the emissions scandal that Germany is still having to pay for. Audi, VW, Porsche etc all lied to get sales with figures that were unrealistic regards to consumption and emissions - it seems one rule for Germany, and another for everyone else.

The absurdity of the EU commission whilst trying to defend this testing, was to state " the EU General Court dismissed Dyson’s claims saying that dust-loaded testing is not reliable or “reproducible” So there you have it then, the EU ruling body state it is impossible reproduce a real life setting where there is grit and dust?????????

I suggest they simply look down to the ground! & refer to this statement from the article "despite the fact that the international standard does use dust.

This sentence says it all about the EU in one clear statement. "The court said that to reach the conclusion it had, the General Court “distorted the facts”, “ignored their own law”, “had ignored Dyson’s evidence” and had “failed to comply with its duty to give reasons” How long did they have to think about this? this says it all. "The case was passed back to the General Court, which was given time to reconsider its verdict at leisure. Today, after eighteen months of cogitation (what do judges do all day?), and with nowhere to go, the court capitulated."

As the house of lords was/is a place to stop unjust laws being introduced in the UK, I should not really be surprised that this was written by one "Matt Ridley is an award-winning author and sits in the House of Lords as Viscount Ridley." I just wish he would put as much effort into rolling back the truly invasive anti privacy laws in the UK, that they allowed to pass, via the snoopers charter act. He needs to now stop wagging a finger at the EU as he is getting his brexit, so needs to do what he gets paid to do, and paid handsomely at that, start rolling back laws in the UK, and giving people freedom and privacy back. Do not worry, my words are not empty, I am writing to him today - to say just that!.

Verdict = For once this judge is happy with that judge.
