New "Corporate Policy"! Sunday Funday!
As a new corporate policy we have decided there shall be no corporation! FUCK THE SYSTEM!
Seriously thought though, we are looking to update our new user registration "Shadow Rank" calculations.
Our proposal is that we come up with a fair system where by a user who joins with larger amounts of Steem Power get more Shadow Rank during sign up than those who sign up with less Steem Power.
We would like the communities input before we officially make a decision on this!
I just checked out that I am receiving less and less Upvotes lately. I am getting only about 10-12 Upvotes per day from shadowbot Interface while I am Upvoting others at the same pace as others which is Upvoting at an interval of 5 Hours.
If everything was normal wouldn't I receive a boatload(in Numbers) of Upvotes at an interval of 5 Hours.
Not during minnow booster day which is every sunday. We dolphins and whales give back to those smaller who are lucky to see even a few votes a week.
Yes, I know about that. In fact, I am ok with giving out to the Minnows a bit but I am not receiving votes in any Day of the Week. As I said I only get Upvotes from about 10 Peoples via @shadowbot.

It was ok up till about 2 weeks ago then this issue arrived. I noticed it just about 2 Days ago.
Just to give you an update, we see all the votes that were cast in the logs went through which is a good sign. We are looking now at the vote scheduling daemon to determine why your posts are not reaching the number they should. This is good news because it means the issue is not with the actual voting by rather just the scheduling of them. We should have a diagnosis shortly. I just wanted to give you a status update.

I have been with shadowbot for almost a year and I really like the concept and I don't want to leave.

I think I identified the issue, I also gave you a nice shadow rank bump, for some reason your account was far too low based on SP. We are re-working everything now but I see 180~ votes that went out in the past hour much more than you have been getting. I will still keep you posted as we make progress!

I think it may have to do with the amount of posts you make P/W. Remember shadowbot only votes every 24hours.
I noticed when I was making more than 7 posts per week there was a drop in my payouts (and that was still posting no more than 10 p/w) and when I voted more than twice per day at 100% it would affect my payouts also.
I could be wrong, but just going off previous personal experience that could be what is affecting your payouts.
I don't think it's that as quite some Time ago I used to post about 6-7 Posts a Day in which case @shadowbot would select a Single post among all 6 posts and Upvote that.
But now it is just not happening.

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to somehow provide shadow rank boost incentives for people who do have low SP aswell.
The obvious reward scheme would be for powering up - if everyone powered up 1 SP per day for the next year that would be an additional 852275 SP (basically 8 @grandpawhales's a year!) in the pool, and thats not even including the compounding SP from post rewards. You could give boosts on a weekly/monthly basis and work out the reward on how much of a % increase their SP has risen?
A few more ideas:
Random power up boost days every month: Set a power up task with a 24hr limit for people to earn shadowrank boosts. For example - 24hr to power up 50 SP for a rank boost reward of 10. This will encourage people to be engaged more consistently and directly with the project.
More rank reward competitions through invites: Similar to the last competition where each person was rewarded a boost of 1 for every new caster they invited that signed up.
Referral program for referring people with large SP: A consistent program whereas rather than looking to refer anyone, people are rewarded for those they invite with higher SP. For example - a referral for someone with 1000 - 2000 gives you a rank boost of 2, 2000 - 5000 rank boost of 5, 5000 - 10000 rank boost of 10, 10000 - 20000 rank boost 15 etc etc.
Im sure there are many more options too, but definitely incentivising the masses to power up small amount regularly will have a just as profound effect.

It sounds good but you need to take in consideration the people who joined from the start, who were inviting members, building their rank week by week, powering up all rewards and never powered down.
I am proud of my rank, but my SP is low, 1,200 SP, so I think it wouldn't be fair for someone to join tomorrow with 2,000 SP and have better rank and more upvotes than me, yeah he has more SP but he is brand new to the community and didn't gave much effort and support to ShadowBot community, so I hope others will agree with me.
I mean... It only makes sense that someone with more Contribution to give is better off than someone that is lower SP. The person that helps more should be rewarded higher. It's logical, right?
You don’t understand. More steem power mean more people get upvote. They can benefit. Then your rank will be increase day by day.

What the policy is saying is that folks with higher steem power should have a higher shadow rank regardless of their time with shadowbot.
I support that because more steem power means that person can help shadowbot more and should be rewarded for it.

I'm never received upvote since 1/2 week, i know my steem is low but my account alwasy upvote with shadowbot automatically every dah every hours. I'll happy if shadowbot improve the system for low steem power user :) .. And my shadow rank always show 1 ... I'll delete auth later for no impact to my steem account ..
Or always stay with shadowbot for fix ... I'm sad not receive upvote but my account always used for upvote with shadowbot.

Okay trying to help from point to point:
You received five upvotes from shadowbot on this post four to five days ago.
Shadowbot seems to be upvoting from your account at the 5h mark everytime (hence 50% voting efficiency), so not every hour.
The System is helping minnows at the Minnow Booster Day. But, with 15 SP you are falling under those guidelines.
So you would at least need 25 SP to be eligible for the minnowbooster day, which will be sunday. But based on the votes from four to five days ago, it seems that you are still receiving upvotes.
Don't understand quite what "delete auth"(entication) exactly means. But when you delete your account from the shadowbot pool you will loose your shadowrank and every progress made there.
Your concerns about the curation rewards: Without upvoting the post early on after the 30 minutes mark, before it gets a massive amount of rewards, you will most likely not receive any curation rewards, because the vote is way too small at 15 SP. Take a look at grandpahwale. This account is even receiving sometimes curation rewards at 0.005 SP even with his high amount of SP.
As far as I can tell: You should stay in the pool. Your vote with 15 SP is quite unsellable on the most markets and even when, they will give you something around 85% of that value. Which is something around 0.0006 SBD/Steem (Nope, not a zero too much.). Shadowbot will reward you way better than you can contribute.

Also you are only 6 days in the pool. It will take some time to get higher up. (It seems after 4 to 5 weeks you will get the next rank, but only shadowbot can tell you that more precise.)
