Thank you all from bottom of our heart for supporting @SchoolForSDG4 . I am here to share a big issue we are planning to do. We have been working with underprivileged children to develop their social and educational activities for more than a year at Gashitula, Sylhet Bangladesh. The charity school provides free education for all existing children and has big dream to keep facilitating under served kids by providing quality education. So happy to receive amazing support of Steemit Community !!

Today we are sharing about Computer class at @SchoolForSDG4 this week and would like to raise funds for new Laptop or Used laptop for our school. What kind of laptop do you want to see at @SchoolForSDG4 ?

On 3rd October, we received a donation of 10,000 equivalent to 128 USD for School Laptop from a industry owner in our city. This was totally miracle and even I was not expecting. I was sharing our school educational activities and he showed interest to contribute in new laptop for school. The man was stranger to me. I will able to cash out the cheque in next week from suggested bank.

The class was recorded on 4th October, 2017. I use my brother's personal old laptop and projector to teach the kids for more than a year. As the laptop was bought in 2008, it does not function well with it's old configuration.

The laptop was bought at price 62,000 BDT = $ 775 by my brother during our golden age. I posted on facebook a year ago when the laptop was my only device to access technology.

On 04 October, 2017 we couldn't take class of computer but show up to 24 kids. Hashi, Khushi, soniya, koli, juma and all other kids wanted to watch Meena but the computer USB port doesn't work and so it was hard for me to connect it with my mobile hotspot and let their excitement alive. Even kids was not able to listen sound because the China speaker corrupted and we need to buy a new speaker as well.

However, the mobile internet was little slow and I was not able to browse online but I could play a downloaded educational video for them. They was happy and but they missed Meena. Later I fixed and was waiting for another batch ( class one and Two ). The elementary kids went back to home.

The room is too small for them but we have to continue right now. Hope one day we will able to manage enough space for kids. The sound for laptop was not clear to kids, so teacher help them to understand and learn.

We hope next week, we will able to take class with new or used laptop ! @Lindahas also sharing with a separate post to raise fund for kids. She and @tecnosgirl is a great help for our school recent development on steemit. You probably heard from them how they are helping the kids ! Also I give thanks to @steemiteducation for the resteem and support. Many love and respect to @kenny-crane @canadian-coconut for their attention in our blog and supporting the cause.

The video is recorded on 23 June, 2016. The speaker was new that time and it was working fine. Kids were enjoying lot.

Along with all difficulties, we enjoyed our last class (4 October, 2017) with some educational stories. No mouse, no speaker but we was silent to understand. They love English cartoon because they have wish to learn English more. I am happy that they likes second language. Though they have many things to improve.

Kids were singing " we shall overcome" in Bangeli and and playing with toys. I could avoid my responsibility and could stop the dream I see with the kids. But I know if I don't continue. The post may not be posted in Blockchain. It is easy to avoid by many of us. May be many of our children has a laptop/ note book because their parents has wealth. But these kids will be happy to have at least one laptop that they can say @ This Is Our Laptop @

Let's act together to make it possible. With laptop, we will able to make video call with you and join you with kids. We will also happy if we find some educators who wish to teach kids as volunteer via skype.
