How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why? |

There are two seasons in my country known as Rainy and dry season These two seasons are both unique because they add different values to the lives of humans and animals. Is good God gave my country Nigeria these two unique seasons. So many people always adapt to these two different seasons and am not an exception to this because if i am then it will be difficult for me to survive as a human.
The dry season is my favorite and I love this season so much, I don't care how hot the sun heats me, I just love this season with all my heart and the reason for this is because it reduce the rate of flood in so many undeveloped areas and it makes my solar to charge very well to my taste.
You and I know that solar panel gets charged through the heat of sun and if rain falls then the solar won't really charge. I just love the dry season so much.

I will love to skip the Rainy season forever and am not saying this out of selfish interest because I just want my solar to charge during dry seasons daily but there are so many reasons attached to my decision. Am a farmer as well and rainy season is good for my crops to grow very well but I will only suffer the stress of watering my plants daily because it will be very hot.
The reason I don't like the rainy season is because it interrupts events alot, I can't imagine rain falling on my matriculation, graduation or wedding day, I won't enjoy it at all and am sure if you all are in my shoes you won't also enjoy that day if rain falls heavily in the middle of the event. Am talking for the interest of everyone. I have read alot of entries for this contest and I mostly saw people skipping dry season forever but as for me I will remove the rainy season and more reasons are above this section of my post.

During the Rainy season, alot of things doesn't happen much, is just a period of intense farming. Alot of people especially me, enjoy faming during this season because our crops grows faster and more fresh. People mostly plant maize and yam during the rainy season and I love this initiative humans discovered long ago. Planting is fun during rainy season.
Christmas and new year day falls under the dry season and mostly Christians celebrate this period as one of their special activity during that season.

Rainy season: We enjoy drinking more pepper soup during the rainy season when everyone is absolutely cold, as we all know, is important to make yourself warm when you are cold. You can't be drinking ice water during the rainy season daily, you are threatening your health if you are still doing that. Pepper soup and rice, yam or plantain is one of the best meal during rainy seasons.
Dry season: We also take some good foods that matches with the dry season but most of these foods really need to be cold and well prepared. Though we can eat most foods during this season, hot food are not really bad to eat in this season but it shouldn't be all the time. People mostly drink chilled water and drinks during this period. People mostly enjoy licking ice cream in this period.

Although every season is very beautiful but in the rainy season, it is very painful to see water in front of the houses and mud on the roads. And the water also causes a lot of destruction in the houses where it enters. So, no one will like such a weather for sure.

Nigeria is really blessed with a whole lot of amazing seasons majorly the rainy and the dry seasons just like you said. I was actually wondering why you didn't include the Harmattan season to it also. I usually count the Harmattan season as one of the season in Nigeria. Omo I will say both seasons you mentioned I mean both the dry and the rainy seasons, they both have their pros and cons to it.
Me personally I don't really like heat so I don't usually fancy the dry season, I will prefer the rainy season to others season. Well there are some part of Nigeria which they also don't like the rainy season due to the flood that always happen there. Take for example places like Lagos that they experience flood every single time. So I will say both the rainy and the dry season have their own pros and cons.
It's good to know the season of your country but why harmattan isn't here 🤔
Pepper soup rice is just the perfect food for the rainy season. It helps keep our body warm.

Dry season is always very hot, heat everywhere and this can cause heat to our body. Though both season has their advantages and disadvantages.

One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are two seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but you nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us. and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. Hi dear I am very happy to read your post as there are two types of weather in your country dry season and rainy season but you also asked about your favorite season which is your choice. She is a little different from others because most people think of rainy weather but you like dry weather.You captured the beauty of the dry season as you said that when the sun is at its peak it feels like it is on the roof, describing the beauty of the scene as you share your visions also shared.
