Hey There,

New steemer (or is it Steemian?) here!

My brother is the one who introduced me to cryptocurrencies in general and steemit in particular, and I’ve been hooked since I first started browsing here 2 weeks ago. So I’m super excited to be joining this great community.

A little about me:
My name is Ruth, I’m 28 and live in Israel.
I have recently quit my safe high-tech job, because I decided feeling dead inside gets kind of old after a while, and am now on the journey of creating the kind of job that will allow me to live the life I want, and still have money for food (and also nice clothes, travel and expensive cars).
I love writing- been doing that since I was little, which makes me very happy for this amazing new platform. As appose to that, I feel super awkward about making videos- but I’m going to challenge myself and do it anyway. But please be gentle with me guys.

What can you except to see from me here?

1. Healthy living- I’m in the begging of (another) weightless process. This time it’s going to stick. And do you know why? Because I’m documenting it online, and there’s no way I’ll live down the embarrassment of committing to losing weight on the big INTERNET and not following through.
   So you’ll see me document my process into becoming a fit and healthy member of society- healthy recipes, food logs, workouts and weekly statues updates.
   But let’s be honest for a second, healthy living is soooo much more than just achieving a healthy weight and loving your body, and that leads me to the next subject.

2. Mental health- I’m not any mental health professional (I lean more towards the patient’s side), but I am big on maintaining mental health and happiness through daily practices that empower you.
   These practices might be different for each one of us, but some big ones for me are: meditation, affirmations, writing, workout, crying on the phone with a friend. Wait. No. scratch that. That’s what I do when the other ones didn’t help.

3. Making money online- I guess anyone who’s in here is interested in that on some level, but it needed to be said anyway. I recently started an Ecommerce business with an amazing partner (i.e. my cousin) and it is something that takes up most of my time during the day, and will probably be discussed here in some shape or form.

4. TV/movies/books- I am a geek when it comes to my taste in entertainment, I love fantasy, SCI-FI and apocalyptic movies of any kind. I will probably talk about my excitement regarding the last Walking Dead episode, my love of all things Harry Potter and my favorite Doctor (Matt Smith. Duh).

5. Natural beauty- I do not know how to use makeup. I do not know how to paint my nails (thank god for the amazing talented nails artists out there). I do not know how to use a blow drier, curling iron etc.
   I DO know how to manage unmanageable curls, make easy, natural, hair products and treat dry hair. And I will most definitely share it here.

6. My cat- she’s stupid. She’s a HUGE snob. She is also super cute and will be featured here as much as she allows.
