Learning a new Stitch Design
Today I don't have an actual project because all my time last weekend was spent on family time.
Last week, I learned two new stitches. One is the corner to corner which I enjoyed so much! And because I enjoyed it too much, I created a neck warmer. I was supposed to share that today for #needleworkmonday but excitement got the better of me. Haha.
Two days ago, I discovered the V double crochet. It's really easy to do. I am planning on using this design for my giveaways on our family reunion this coming holidays.

I played around with the colors a bit. This one looks sweet, I love it!
Now that I have bought more yarns, I am going to stay inside the crochet cave!

I guess there is no such thing as having too much yarns.

Thank you for sharing the new stitches @romeskie! The c2c and v stitches look beautiful. I have not heard of them before and this is a good new learning for me too :) I agree, there is no such thing as having too much yarn because I have a closet full of them hehe.

I want a closet full of yarns too! 😍😍😍Right now I have two huge boxes. Hehe
I am trying to look for new cool stitches. I will be sharing more of what I learn here on steemit.
Correction.. small closet :D.. yarns collected from over 20 years and just kept in boxes untouched until now, thanks to #needleworkmonday!! :)Yes yes, please share. This community is so fun and there is so much to learn :)
Wow! Nice Stitch...

Thanks @jurich60. I'm still trying to learn a few more stitch designs. 😁
Learning something new is always exiting - I always have tons of ideas how to use it or how to combine it with things I already know.
Too much yarn? Doesn't exist ;) (Though I'm thinking about making a blanket out of sock yarn left overs, small squares or so that I would later crochet together)
I'm planning on using my leftover yarns for a mandala coaster. Haha. That's what I tell my husband everytime he asks. I'm just waiting for more "leftovers". Hahaha

:D You can never have too many left-overs, @romeskie.
I like that corner to corner stitch a lot because you can recreate pictures by taking each square as a pixel :D
I also like the colours of the V stitch :D
I want to create a "Welcome home" sign for our door using corner to corner one of these days. ❤❤❤
That's a super idea, @romeskie. Ages ago @ivan-g shared his filet crochet with us. I reckon you could actually use the same principle.
You can have a look at his post here
:D
That was a nice read! Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Thanks and more powers to you!
'crochet cave' perfect :-DD I want one too.
I have never done C2C crochet but I wanted to learn for ages, as there are o many beautiful blanket, shawl and cushion designs for it. I am curious what you will do in the next weeks with this new technique
Crochet cave - my tight little corner in the living room where noone is allowed to even look unless otherwise instructed. Haha. I'm still not sure what to do. I have a few projects in mind though. Dunno which ones to work on first. Hehe
I mostly work in the kitchen in front of the window, because of the light, not so cozy so...
and with the projects: I feel you. I could cast on multiple things every day. I have to contain myself
Just a little teaser:

I liked the teddy blanket, although its perhaps more for children, I liked it very much :-D
OMG! I like the teddy blanket too! Now there's another project I want to work on. You just made my list longer. Haha.
