Bali

Just come back from a walk to my beach in Bali. I first come here back in 1976 ..I had been in Sri Lanka and people told me that Bali was over commercialised ..Well i arrived here a few months later down through the hippie trail and what i found was virtually untouched outside small villages and the main capital Denpasar....I stayed here for 4months and come to love this beautiful island and its people..now 40 years later and older ,i still find it a place that when you leave its still causes grief as if you have lost or left a loving friend...It is a magical place and even though over loved now , it still gives you mystical feelings 40 years on...what a place ..The island of the Gods
