What The Heck Is Spud?
I don't get it fully but I support the idea to do something good for Steem on the 1st of May. How about you? As I have read from a blog post of @kid4life SPUD means Steem Power Up Day and it means that we don't sell any Steem. Well no problem with my small amount for me😄

Btw. I made this photo with my iphone when travelling in the Alps. I kind of like how the view shows us something in the distance, that is far away. But with hard work we can reach it some day.

Hello @pocketrocket #SPUD simply stands for STEEM POWER UP DAY, and on that day we are asking those that can, since some use STEEM to live, to take a little bit, some or all their STEEM and to convert it or turn it into STEEM POWER as a show of solidarity and belief in the Steem Community.
Also we ask of those that also can, to stop any power downs at least for the 24 hrs of SPUD, and also to not sell or trade away any STEEM, and to Stop any sell orders on the exchanges.
This is all voluntary and there are no rewards other than those gained from supporting this amazing network and group of people that go by STEEMIANS.
A good reason, thanks for such a good description. So let's power up some more awareness and support this cause.
