Hello great Steemians,
My name is Paul from Nigeria, a fresh college student who has fall in love with the internet and the opportunities it offers.

My online adventure first started out with schemes that does nothing but waste one's precious time and capital (Ponzi).
A fool of me then thought it was a God sent opportunity. But after being burnt and understanding the core concepts, I felt really bad and disheartened but a passion have been deposited through the experience "The feeling that success can really be gotten from the net".

As a determined individual I started some few research and dropped the "get rich quick mentality", my researches brought me to the awareness of many opportunities, some which I tried but weren't profitable, but further research brought me to the knowledge of something which caught my heart without much thinking "blogging". I found it fascinating how writing could set you free, I was determined to give my all, channelling my energy towards self development as I was very raw(still I am) only to be barred with difficulty of really setting up through lack of fund.

Offline activities and struggles meddled with the passion, and I was left fighting to meets ends on salaries that couldn't properly feed me.
Stress took it toil, uncertainty set in, the negatives left me but to wave some little holiday to my dear modern world "online".

Then, a spring of hope spur during the cryptocurrency craze toward the end of last year, calling me wanting. I couldn't help but to invest my little savings in a promising ICO

A new coin no matter its potential doesn't multiply overnight. A void was still left in me, that feeling of belonging to somewhere I can't actually perceive.

I finally found my way to join steemit last month through a crypto community invites without even knowing the opportunities that it portray.

But something happened; I stumble upon a post on medium written by @stellabelle that truely opened my eye, I really believe the post was meant for me. I was very happy knowing I could finally get into a family and an adventure that will allow me to be expressed and grow.

@Stellabelle mentioned a compatriot from my country which had experience a great success with the platform @infovore and truely this bro is really amazing with the way he writes.
Unfortunately I couldn't get the chance to connect with him as he has been away for sometime.

Getting started created a dilemma, the whole concept aren't familiar. Fortunately I met with @oduwole the very day I joined Steem.chat and I think I know a little of where to start from now through his advice.

Being a fresh college student would interfere with how much devotion I can give to this new adventure, but I must give it a shot, a good one really.

After reading some few posts I have come to discovered some great writer and talents who teaches and inspire with the quality of contents they produce @flamingirl @arcnage @donkeypong ... @suase, their writings shed some light on the pattern and ways on how I could be organized and focused.

I will be focusing my blog posts around Health and Fitness which is related to my area of current study, little on blockchain and crypto as they are the new revolution we are experiencing and some bit in other life areas.

Am eagerly anticipating to meeting new wonderful people who will advice, expose, encourage, impact, and correct me when ever possible.
