VERY COOL GIFTS FROM @FLEMINGFARM

Big thanks @flemingfarm! This stuff is awesome!

We were trying to pull this one off for years, and I think we've finally got it!

SKY BLUE ELDERBERRIES AND LIBERTY RINGS

While enjoying the posts of others, we noticed that the Elderberry plants over by @flemingfarm produced sky blue elderberries while the ones here are a deep purple.

Uh, no. Not Deep Purple the band, the color deep purple... anyway. Last year, we tried an elderberry cutting swap. Somehow, it didn't quite work out for us. While we each received cuttings from one another, but we just didn't manage to get them root last year.

This year, we swapped plants earlier in the year and made sure that they had some roots on them too. The first photo above is the one that I already planted, and the other one we potted for now. I'll try keeping one outside this winter and the other in the house, and hopefully by spring at least one will still be alive, maybe even both.

Not that people that close of attention to the small details, but you may have noticed @papa-pepper wearing two rings recently, instead of the usual one. The regular one is a wedding band, but the new "Liberty Ring" was a gift from @flemingfarm!

Apparently his dad knows how to turn coins into rings, as he did with this quarter here. Personally, I'm blown away by it and had never seen anything like it. Not knowing what size our fingers were, @flemingfarm sent multiple rings as a gift, so @mama-pepper, @papa-pepper, and some @little-peppers all have Liberty Rings of their own.

Since my neighbor @bluerthangreen is also into freedom and liberty, I gifted him one too! @Flemingfarm is just one small example of the amazing individuals that make up our steemit community, and I am blessed to have met him here! Maybe if we hit the west coast some day, we'll even have to meet up in person.

If you are not familiar with @flemingfarm yet, please check him out and give him a follow. Tell him that "Papa" sent you! Thanks @flemingfarm and the rest of you amazing steemians!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Enjoy!...:)...

We hope too! Thanks @jang!

That ring is really cool. I've seen them for sale, but never known of someone who had one. It looks cool. And that's awesome that @flemingfarm sent you enough sizes that you could make sure to have one that fits.

The best advice I can give you about getting the plants to grow is not to let the object on the right spend too much time with the object on the left. Ha ha.

LOL - Very good advice!

They look really great! Great job!

Thanks! I think it'll work out this time!

I did notice the extra ring but never thought to ask you...figuring if you wanted to share you would! Well now you have shared, thanks!

That is very cool. :D I've never seen a ring made out of a coin before like that, it looks really neat. :D Great job to @flemingfarm's dad. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D

Super awesome!! I'm really happy to see them growing! I have mine potted up and I will see in the spring if I have growth. I really glad you like the rings and I had figured you would like the liberty aspect given you have recently obtained your liberty with moving into your own homestead! It's been really cool to watch the process.

Hey, @papa-pepper.

I don't think I've ever seen an elderberry up close and in person. Do they have a taste similar to blueberries? I've tried lingonberries and something else—it's juice is kind of clear, though, like a green grape would be. Can't remember now what it was, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Those liberty rings are pretty amazing, and kudos to @flemingfarms for sending them to you. I don't know if I would be cutting up quarters, but it's not like they're worth a whole lot anymore, anyway.

Is it comfortable to wear?

Love the rings, rabbit, little-pepper, elderberry and just the constant good vibes emanating from your wondrous homestead!!! I love what you do! 🦋🌈🌴💛🍀

Hey can I trade some Steem for one of these? Preferably 1964 or earlier?
