P3T Update: We can do better

Take a step back and it’s easy to see what is happening here. The lifespan for dapps on Tron has been extremely short. Developers are incentivized to jump from dapp to dapp. They see what is popular, copy it, throw up a template website and collect a “dev fee.” When this dies, these developers are incentivized to move on. Copy another dapp. Take a dev fee. Then move on to something else.

Building a community is hard. Promoting is hard. Creating something that lasts a long time is hard. Developers are lazy and do what is easy. Investors are lazy and invest in dapps that could make them some quick TRX or be scams. The dapps have no long-term viability. The core is built on something that mathematically cannot last and when the contract hits zero, there is nothing left. No community. No developer. No TRX. The community says they want something innovative, but are incentivizing developers to not innovate by sending their TRX to the non-innovative contracts.

You are here to make more TRX. We are here to provide ways for you to play transparent games of risk and strategy.

Our P3T Play initiative has launched and now allows third party developers to easily build something that feeds more dividends to the P3T contract. P3T Play already has a few applicants that are planning to launch soon and we are also in early discussions with other developers wanting to tap into the network. This will benefit the whole Tron dapp community if we build this base and support projects that release under P3T Play. We can verify that all of these games are safe contracts for the community to play. In exchange for supporting the P3T token holders, these third party developers can now build for the established P3T community. The developers benefit immensely by being able to release through P3T Play. In addition to the community provided, we can provide technical and developer support. One of the main benefits of P3T Play is the ability for developers to keep their source code private and have the community trust that it is safe for them to play. If developers want to release a project, but don’t want to make the source code public, they can submit the code to us. The P3T team can audit the code and match the bytecode with the contract. We can make sure the code is safe, protect the community and protect the developer’s code from cloners. This way the developers don’t have to worry about people cloning their contracts if they verify the code and the community won't have to FUD the developers that don't have their code verified. This will definitely be a game changer from the current environment in the Tron Dapp space.

Right now, the dapp space is evolving. The confidence in the current structure of ROI games is fading fast and almost gone. There are more than 20 different ROI games on Tron now. TRX is getting deposited into dapps we know can’t last. What is worse is there is a risk that some of the contracts could have back doors. These are unnecessary risks that the Tron community is taking. We can do better. We can work together. The quality Tron dapp developers can implement the Tron community’s ideas. We can release these ideas via P3T Play. Everyone can stay safe knowing the contracts are exit scam proof. Developers can build for an already existing community and players can know that the projects have been held to the P3T standard. Everyone wins by playing together.

What is next? What is left? Who is left? What the P3T team is creating is a base for the future evolution of what dapps will be. The community will eventually go where the best platform is. It might not be P3T, but there is no other dapp with a better model currently. Nothing else has a solid foundation. The Tron casinos will die, the ROI clones will die, the current games will all die. We do not want to put down any other platforms, but we all know the future. Tron dapps must evolve. It is the community's job to hold developers accountable by speaking with where their TRX flows.

P3T will have a full whitepaper detailing long-term plans and what we have been building behind the scenes. We are creating lasting value for the P3T community and something the whole Tron community can support. The P3T token contract could survive on its own with the dividends from buys and sells. However, there are going to be countless income streams feeding the P3T tokens as well. A constant flow of dividends is going to the P3T token holders and these will have value for years to come. We are working for the community. The P3T token holders will continue to be rewarded. Imagine a Tron dapp world after the unsustainable ROIs, without pointless casinos, without scam developers and projects. Let’s unite as a community and build the future of Tron Dapps that Justin Sun can be proud of. The future is here in the P3T ecosystem. We will do better by sticking together.
