Some more plant mail
I received some plants today that I bought from a haworthia grower in the Cape. He does online auctions and his plants sell for quite a bit although I got some the fixed-price plants he was offering. At the current price of Steem, I doubt I will be doing this again any time soon.
This one looks like it may be a hybrid of Haworthia pygmae.
This mixed pot has a variety of parents and I look forward to seeing how they develop further.
These pictures are from the catalogue, the plants I received were dried so that they could make the trip through the postal service without rotting and I'll take pictures of them once they have settled in.
I finished getting all the little Hoodia gordonii plants into individual pots, and I have 48 little pots. They will be ready for sale in about 6 months and due to the amount of interest people are already showing in them, pehaps I should get more seed and sow another batch. I still have to repot all the mesembs and I am not looking forward to that although they are still too small for repotting at this stage.
On the first photo it looks like cats tongues :)
48 little pots! Wow.. show them :)
Nature is art in itself alone I love your post, greetings and my respect my support with my vote.
Very beautiful flowers. Probably very expensive. But they look great. Recall in the form of starfish.
I like the hairs and teeth on these leaves
They almost look man made. :-)
Being hybrids, they are man-made ;-)
You got me there. :-) @nikv
