The last two weeks of waiting and I finally managed to register)
This is my first post on steamit. And I would like to tell a little about myself.

The main work is the development of software, although now there is more technological and projects managment. But this is not the most important thing in my life. But the main thing is photography and the sea.

The main interests, respectively, also relate to photography, travel, eco-awareness.

In my story there were two starting points:
The first, when I was still a student, I read about the first models of digital cameras. Before that, I did not have a special propensity for shooting, but then I flipped it around somewhere. It was 17 years ago. I knew for sure that I needed it. The parameters of the cameras were then ridiculous, and the prices were reversed. On the first camera I saved almost a year ...

The second point is the first trip to the Red Sea in 2003. The first immersion in the water changed everything for me.

Then everything was like rolling. One of the first things that caught my eye was the underwater box for my camera. For those times, it was rarity and huge. The more I shot, the more I liked it. And the more options for travel and new filming I had. Diving, freediving, salt water and fresh, in the cold and in the tropics. I never dive without a camera.

In 2006 i began to take part in different underwater and wildlife photography contests.
During this time I won about a hundred different large contests and titles.

Among them:
Photographer of the year according to the version of the Golden Turtle, winner of the first national prize according to the version of the World photo organization (Sony Award), awardee of Underwater photographer of the year, Wildlife photographer of the year (WPY), Wildlife photographer of the Europe (GDT) ...

Now we have a team of 4 great photographers (Andrey Sidorov, Konstantin Novikov, Sergey Shanin). We work on wildlife photography projects. 

What will I write and tell about?
There will be several main themes:
* all about the photography
* about the sea and its inhabitants
* block about our photo projects, for example Far East marine life
* and I will talk about major contests and trends in natural photography

And of course, there will be just photos with stories. After all, every time, staying alone with the sea, I rejoice and admire, as the first time. And of course I want to bring at least a small part of this amazing world to those who still do not know it ...
