Happy Women's Day
Today 8th of March we celebrate the International Women's Day. I believe that every day is a Women's day, but yes a celebration is required so identifying one day to celebrate the power of women is a good idea. A Women is just not about beauty. She is a combination of strength and beauty playing so many different roles in life. A Women is just not about the person being a female, it is about all those feminine energies that she carries within her, without which this whole world will be imbalanced. It's the law of the Universe to have a balanced Masculine and Feminine energy for every single person. And when either one lacks there is a imbalance observed in life. So, there's a bit of a Women in every person on this planet.
While the man in some parts of the world do dominate women and make her feel small in comparison to them, but they forget that their life and their world and all their relationships are incomplete without a woman. Their very existence comes from a woman, how do they forget that and how can they put them down. How would they come to this world without a woman. While the whole world may keep saying that all man and woman are equal, but I say that a woman is always one step higher in position in every way in this world, because she is the one who has the power to give life, which a man cannot do it. In future possibly science can change that, but then those will not be under the laws of nature.
If we go to see in life everything is defined by a Woman. In the Indian culture Knowledge is defined by Goddess Saraswati, Finance is defined by Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Parvati defines Power and Love, Goddess Durga holds the power to destroy evil. It is said that she had a combined power of all the male Gods. Then why do the man think that woman holds less power.
There are still so many jobs where women have not been considered and I wonder why, what is it that a woman cannot do and why do the man think it that way. The fact is that over the centuries, the male society have set this conditioning that a woman is weaker than a man and the woman themselves have started believing that they are the weaker gender and cannot do certain jobs. If for the next few centuries this conditioning is reversed then possibly in the next few hundred years women will be doing all the jobs and the men will be taking the second place in the society. At the end of a tough day a man needs a women to comfort him, then be it his mother, sister, wife or daughter. That's the energy that she carries within her. The warmth and Love that she holds within is selfless.

We need many empowered women in this world where society has marked advantages for men. My mother was an extraordinary woman and I learned many things from her at home that forged great values in me. I believe that women have a considerable advantage as mothers, because there can be no other being as wonderful as her.

So glad to know that you had a strong influence of your mother. That's true, Mothers do have that advantage and they should put that to good use in raising their children with right values. What is imbibed in childhood, goes a very long way as the child grows up.

There is loads of power in femineity and the women themselves should be in full realization of that power. If they give our their power then it is their fault is what I believe.

That's true, that times have changed and still in many parts of the world the ideologies have not. But who can change that, only the Women themselves by standing up for themself and taking their right position in the society.
Although I am a Muslim girl, but I am a lawyer, so I have a little knowledge of society and religion. In Hindu religion, I have heard more about female goddesses than males and this is an example that as many men are powerful in this world, women are also there but each one has different capacity. That's why I always consider both equal. If a man thinks that he is ahead of a woman today, then it is a man's misunderstanding and a woman thinks that she is ahead of a man, then it is a woman's misunderstanding.
