Composition is key to good photo.

Today I will tell you what do you need to consider while taking your travel photos. It's always boring to have just flat panorama photo with boring sky that is filling up 50% of your photo, especially when there is no any clouds. What you should do is paying attention into foreground, or what is on the bottom of your frame. I will show you some examples of how I take photos to look interesting. Let's start with first one.

Just by looking what is in foreground you can take good photos. You can see my scenario from that day, boring flat sky without any clouds. So I had to look around me and find what will fill up that frame, just by tilting my camera down I found perfect composition. Only third of a photo is sky, but you can see hills that are far away that won't make this sky flat in this example.

For this photo I found natural vignette for my photo, tree branches that are shown in the edges of a frame. By adding these branches I can tell my story and what weather was at that point.

Same as first one, I focused on foreground because sky was boring to watch. Added some contrast between oranges in the foreground and blues/grays in the background that made this photo interesting to watch.

Here, without these branches that surround this sky photo would be awful. What do you think?

Find some leading path in the foreground that will show to audience where you were, at what height. You can see clearly that I was on some hill or just higher place than this panorama in background.

Hopefully this was helpful for you. Just by looking little bit around you, you will make photos more interesting. You also don't need expensive equipment to get results like this, start with your phone if you don't have camera, you will get almost same results as I did.
