It was so hot that we didn't do much except stay in the house and watch futbol! My granddaughter baked macarons. Mocha flavored and delicious!
I've never made macarons, it's so hard to find the ingredients. But everyone says they are so delicious
I love the purple smokebush!!! I used to have one......they are so pretty.
I've never had one. I read that they are easy to grow and can be pruned into a tree or a bush. I wonder if it would look really out of place here in the woods, or just be a nice accent.

Thanks so much, luv! I understand that it is native to the Mediterranean area, but is easy to grow and you often see it planted here in people's gardens.

These were taken in Chicago. It is not a plant that is native to this country, but rather a specimen plant that is planted in people's yards.
