Victimhood mentality is a choice

Victimhood mentality is a choice, a choice all too common amongst those on the left whom I refer to simply as 'sympathy-addicts.'

Sympathy-addicts create an identity through their suffering, as if it defines them, and feed off of the sympathy they receive from others as they bleat on about their hardships and troubles -- seemingly oblivious to the fact that just about everyone is fighting their own battles and wrestling with their own demons. Such is life, though. Nature is struggle. To struggle is to grow, and to grow is to struggle. Quit fucking whining about it, like a little bitch, and OWN your struggle.

You can choose to perceive the many hardships life will throw at you as limitations, as excuses for mediocrity and perpetual misery, or you can use those hardships to grow and evolve, to smash your self-imposed limitations and matriculate to higher and higher levels of consciousness, like a fucking BOSS.

The choice is yours.
