Low STEEM Price | *The Time Is NOW!*

When I went to look at the latest Steem Price on coinmarketcap.com I could help but wince - it has been the lowest yet in the year 2018. But then I quickly realized that it is the most opportune time if you look at it in another way.

The first change that I noticed on Steemit is that the mega posters and trending stars of Steemit have started posting a bit less since the Steem price is a bit too low for their comfort. Money is a big motivator and the low price of Steem seems to be a put off for most bloggers here.

That is my first point - now is actually the best time to post and get some visibility!

With the overall number of posts reducing in number, as compared to the frenzied posting when Steem was at an all time high not too long ago, it is a great breather for those who are sincere and devoted to their blogging on Steemit.

If you post now it will not have to cut through the maze created by 4-times-a-day posters who usually clog the feed with their empty posts - that they put out for their autovoters and thanks-for-sharing followers who get attracted by the mouth watering SBD rewards on these posts.

Moreover, those who joined Steemit in the last few months after seeing the surging price of Steem have cut down on their expectations and stopped posting creating a drastic fall in the number of new posts.

Are you a sincere blogger who wants to get some traction on Steemit for your high quality posts?

If you are, roll up your sleeves and create a post and publish it asap. This low posting period may not last long and the Steemit Niagara(the new post feed) will be in full flow once again very soon. The low quality multiple posters will be back with their cheap goods and autovoter bait.

The second important point to consider is - don't do a panic selling of your Steem!

The overall crypto market is seeing a reduction in prices and so is Steem, but with Steem it is a different story. Every cryptocurrency is different but Steem is even more unique because it is powered by a content platform like none else. Steemit is a strong point for Steem, besides the fact that there are much better days to come in the near future that will provide even more value to the world.

This is a temporary dip that may last for a few days or weeks. But it will rebound and reach new heights and at that time you will be happy that you held on to your Steem.

Thirdly you will get more Steem in proportion to your total rewards.

When the value of Steem falls you will get more Steem in your reward payout. This is because it is converted from SBD and if Steem is very high the conversion reduces the Steem amount in absolute numbers. It gives a psychological boost to see a larger Steem payout per post.

Last but bot the least, a good time to buy Steem is now!

As I mentioned earlier, this may well be a period in the history of Steem when the price is so low. If everything goes as planned and the SMTs are launched and in use later in the year the Steem price will reach new heights and it will become very valuable.

I don't want to conjecture whether it will be 10x or 100x, because that is for the experts to predict. But what I can assure you is that the value of Steem will never be this low. So buy Steem if you have fiat money to spare.
