#freewrite :: 5 minute freewrite - Prompt: leather shoes
The phone alarm started singing and by reflex, Tom's hand automatically pressed the snooze button. After 9 minutes, the alarm clock sang again and Tom stirred but his hand still snoozed the phone. At the 5th snooze, Tom suddenly jumped out of bed.
He hurriedly brushed his teeth and showered. Today, he has a very important presentation, and he has to be early. He must make a good impression but he was already late.
Tom quickly wore his clothes, combed his hair and rushed to the door. He was planning to look his best today and then, he looked at his best leather shoes. They were covered in mud! He forgot that he wore them to fishing that day.
Tom looked around for another pair of presentable shoes. The only shoes available was his bright red sneakers. Hopefully, they won't look at his shoes.
