No swimming, no running, no exercising, no sweeping, no mopping, no washing, these are the things that I try not to do when I have the flu. Lots of bumming around and it hasn't been that pleasant of a week with the flu.
One thing I miss most this week is swimming. It is the one thing I tell myself not to do when I have the flu, mostly because swimming involves soaking in cold water for a long period of time which most probably will worsen the flu.
But swimming makes me feel good. Maybe it is the sun, maybe it is the repetitive therapeutic strokes as I glide through the water or maybe it is the water. One thing for certain is that my feel good endorphine hormones get pumped up when I get my dose of swim. It relieves my muscle aches around my shoulders and back, it makes me feel happy and stress free. Usually after every swim, I would feel like an energizer bunny, working the rest of my chores the whole afternoon.
Today, I still didn't go for my swim but too many days of bumming around made me feel restless, especially when the chores were piling up. I swept, I mopped, I changed the sheets, I washed, I wiped and I vacuumed! Take that you flu! But guess what, my knee is screaming at me now and my throat ain't happy.
I am looking forward to a healthier week ahead.

That does not sound great. Perhaps you should go for a swimm and share your virus with the rest of the pool. 😁 I wonder if swimming makes it worse. Viruses do not like cold areas. But since swimming makes you do the house chorus even do faster it is better you stay home. At least you did one thing less.
Poor knee. You should take better care of it. How is the knitting doing?

Haha yah I should consider sharing my virus with the rest 😁. Not sure because I am under the impression that my lungs n nose are congested, added with soaking some more in cold water will make things worse.
Yah, am going to see the doctor later. I think its just signs of aging 😅
Knitting is going on very slowly haha. Can’t seem to keep at it for a long time because there is always something else to do.

How about NaNoWriMo-writing with us instead. I will join and see how to get those 50,000 words. It does not need to be a book. Happy day and about getting old... my doctor once said people easily say that is the reason or menopause is but it seldom is. 💕

Oh ya... I was wondering what NaNoWriMo is. I saw mariannewest's post and it is writing about anything?
Haha yah.. an excuse. But you know what, physically, my doctors are telling that the body is aging once you reach 40. There are things that cannot be denied and measures must be taken to slow that down.
