Peter and Paul Fortress. Continue to walk

We continue to walk around the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress. Start here.

In front of the Peter and Paul Cathedral is a small building - this is a boat's house, created specifically for storing the boat of Peter the Great.

On the roof of the boat house sculpture "Woman with a paddle", and to the right of it the Grand Ducal Tomb. The role of the tomb in the Peter and Paul Fortress was performed by the Peter and Paul Cathedral, and the Grand Ducal Tomb was built here much later, in 1908.

And this sculpture is located in a niche on one side of the Peter's Gate.

I walk around the fortress. There are a lot of museums here and, of course, they are all paid. You can go broke if you visit all at once.) But, fortunately, you just can walk here for free, and the main thing here is what to see!

There is also a café and a canteen on site. But be prepared for the fact that the prices here are higher than in the city! And also, there are several souvenir shops and a small shop at the mint, selling various coins.
