Hello Everybody!

The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 29 of #zencolouringcontest ended earlier today, and now to announce the winners!

So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!

In 3rd place:

I chose this one because I loved how well shaded and detailed with colour it is. The traditional form of colouring really benefits the design beautifully, how the pencil shading blends the colours together is stunning. I especially like the inner ring that has a gradient of blue to green!

In 2nd place:

@meme.elena

I picked this one because of the excellent pattern that is created by the increment of blue shades throughout the different sections. Paired with the subtle use of oranges & yellows and a white outline, the design and colours standout in a very striking way. The addition of the Mayan style picture used in the background works superbly with this week's stencil!

And in 1st place:

@losthippie

I chose this one as the winner because of the incredibly eye catching colour scheme. The pinks, purples and oranges contrast so well with one another and brings the inspiration of a camera lens to life. The asymmetrical shading and colouring combined with some blurring in some places, creates a very realistic look without disturbing the main design. With the chrome rings added around the outside it truly looks like an Aztec camera lens!

The corresponding prize will be sent when the contest post pays out!
