SIN MEE HONG COFFEE SHOP, MIRI, Sarawak

There is this really great place to eat noodles which is located in the older part of town. It's known as Sin Mee Hong Coffee Shop.
In Miri, these were what shop designs used to be. Nowdays, you won't really see much of those older looking signboards.
Fried Rice noodles
or Chao Bai Guo in chinese
My wife loves these alot.

While you eat here you can take a stroll around the older part of town. It is relatively safe. The food here taste really good. However, they only serve drinks and mee. In Miri, expect some waiting time for food. Even though there is only a few orders, it may take up to ten minutes and in almost all cafes, someone will serve you and wait patiently for your order.

Actually hows the food price in Miri? Would it be high coz spending power of neighbour country ? Eg that Chao Bai Guo. How much it cost ?

It is rm 6. Still affordable. There is low cost of labour that's why the prices of things aren't high. Many jobs still get paid below 1k. Weekends, usually there are lots of sales due to fierce competition of supermarkets. I can get a pack of Australian milk here for rm 3.89. Thara unheard of isn't it.

Same here in KK too. Our order will usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes to be served. I'm quite used too it, and I think its a reasonable time duration.
