First Post. Outdoor blogger and youtuber happy to be part of new community

Hey everyone,

I'm John, half of the team behind Lucky Hat Outdoors.

I'll introduce the other half in a bit.

I've always loved being in the outdoors. Especially camping. I didn't cate if it was an overnight solo kayak trip or a multi day camp. I just needed to get out for a couple of days every couple months. Then about a year ago an old friend of mine, Jeremy, contacted me about starting a YouTube channel about hiking, camping, fishing, and the like.

Oh yeah meet Jeremy, the other half of Lucky Hat Outdoors.

So the channel has been doing well and I wanted to expand into more of a blog type of atmosphere. Figured it would be a good way to put down more of my daily musings. Talk about upcoming trips, and even my creative process.

Well that's about it. I'd really appreciate hearing back from the community so any questions I'll happily answer and comments on improving my writing are also welcome.
