Another boring acrylics still life
Greetings steemians
I'm just having 15 minutes of sitting still before my allergy tests are finished so I'll try to sum this post up really quick ;)
Before I get to the point let me just tell you that my local centre of culture ( nck) is putting on display works from various art workshops that take place there, so a few of my works are also displayed there for all to see. So if you happen to be in Krakow Poland, al. Jana pawla 232, before the end of June drop by and witness my artistic journey with your own eyes @_@

I know the colours are off but learning to paint and getting colours right is the main reason I signed up for art workshops so I'm still in the process of education ;)

I really love how wonderful your colours are ! I have gotten so used to your sketches and inks that I was floored every time I see colours from you XD I really like how you did the folds in the fabric and the patterning and detailing on the plates, and clothes, and on the vase. So beautiful <3
Also the way you did the highlights and shadows ! So lovely !
I think you are well on your way of understanding colour balance, tonality, etc !!!! You're kinda motivating me to brave colours again to be honest XD
Anyway, sorry for the late reply, again. I love your paintings, @longer <3 Every time I see you post, I get excited :D :D :D

Thank you so much for constant support. Personally I think I prefer monochrome graphics but if I want to make some money out of this business colours are a must. Besides it feels really good when one sees those little details that were painted better than last time, it's really gratifying :)
I really liked your watercolours, please do brave colours again as I believe that painting affects our brain and perception in such a way that we become better artists overall, even when we come back to ink drawing afterward :)

Well for being in the process you sure are very good. It looks like it takes a lot of depth perception and shadow work to get the hanging cloth right. Good job @longer!

I don’t think advertising the colors being off is necessary @longer. This is a gorgeous piece full of life and depth, there’s nothing to be disappointed about here sir—bravo!
I’m not in Poland but you have my support all the same—thanks for showing us this one.
I'm just trying to be aware of my mistakes to grow as an artist in the future :)
