Ochita Hoshi | Lires Artwork Process | Original Art
Hey guys! Back with another artwork process. "Ochita Hoshi" means, if you said "Fallen Star", you're correct!

With that said, let's begin with the sketch!
Sketch
When I drew the sketch, I wasn't really sure what it was going to look like in the end. I just wanted to draw a floating girl. But around that same time I wanted to make a short manga about a boy who wished for a friend at the exact time a falling star was happening. Then the falling star became a girl. So I used that idea!
Conceptualizing
Here I was trying to get a feel of how my idea was going to look like. So I made a quick mock-up of what I picture in my mind.
Inking
Did the line art in Manga Studio.
Flats
Making flats for this one was easy. So it didn't give me a hard time. :D
Painting
It wasn't really hard to paint this artwork. It was just a body & some trees.
I just used NASA's picture of the Milky Way.. ^-^; Lazy~
I talked about how to make the zoom effect on my other post.
Added the glow using layer properties, nothing fancy..
Final Product
Added some texture & the title, and.. done!
