Reformed - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Hey there!
If this title feels too vague to you let me tell you that I made those long-exposure night photographs around a church, called Biserica Reformată Turda Veche or translated to English that would be the Reformed Church of Turda, Romania. ;)
I really love when I get that creative impulse and the night allows for spending more time outside.
Of course, to make such photos, a tripod is needed and for the last one, a zoom lens (a.k.a. vario-lens).
As you can see, I also experimented with moving the camera while shooting, for that I am not sure I like the output a lot, but it was enough so I dare to share them ;)
This tower is very beautiful in daylight but at nights, it is lighted such beautifully, that I wouldn't miss to take some photos of it, as you see ;)

The church tower has danced as far as I can see here. And so furious at that, that it makes you dizzy. At night, of course, when no one was watching what it was doing... 🤭 (This reminds me vaguely of some episode of Remarque's Black Obelisk...)
I'm not going to ask you about the technique because I personally feel like I'm blind in the absence of light and I don't take night photos. But it is certainly interesting to be taken then, because at night things live their own lives, undisturbed by people and their intrusive gaze. I'm sure everything is different at this time and worth studying.

You really have no imagination! 🤭 Can't you imagine that things, objects, buildings, etc. they can lead a life of their own, unknown to humans, because everything happens when there is no human presence and they, things and objects can do whatever they want undisturbed by intrusive eyes 😃

Yes, those multiple light sources played pretty well ;)
It's just my wide lens (16-35mm) at 16mm and I intentionally got under the street lamp to include its bulb into the composition. Those light effects came really nice.

I checked a review of your lens, first of all, it is a prime lens so a step ahead for it ;) Also, fully manual and no electronic communications with the camera, so you're in full control. All sound great!

Exactly! This still happens too often. Yesterday I was trying to take some shot of grass against the sun with my phone and I had to force it to refocus like more than ten times, as the focus was moving to the background instead. Smartphones aren't so smart, yet :) (good for us, I suppose)
