Fairy-tale - Imprinted by LightCaptured
I happen to have a very limited vocabulary when it comes to Iceland.
It is not that I don't like using words, not at all. It's just that almost everything I saw and every place I visit there, takes my breath away.
On many occasions, I asked myself, "How is it possible that people live here?"
'Cause there were so many houses build alone somewhere in the wilderness. I consider my own country "small". It is about 111,000 km2 with about 7 million people population.
Now, compared to Iceland, that seems much, and huge. As Iceland is about 103,000 km2 but the population is about 350-400k. Talking about density, a different conversation.
Wow, right?
So, I guess, someone has to really possess super powers to be a part of this fairy-tale...

Well, I don't know why you post threads that distract from the awesomeness of your beautiful photos. The place is a fairy tale. Point. No explanation needed.
Because I will join in and tell you that the statement "Bulgaria is a small country" is simply a manifestation of... blablabla, cos it turns out I'm in a bad mood every single day now, haha 😄
Now to your pictures. I don't know who lives in this place, but I guess Iceland is a dream for all kinds of hermits, nature lovers and adventurers. Maybe the tourist flow never stops and that's why these people there can't even feel lonely, but... despite the unique beauty and views, I personally don't know if I would live there for a long time...
On another note, fairy-tales are usually dark, very dark... :D
I guess you seek happiness in the "bad mood"? ;)
I think there is a reason I want to travel to Iceland in the winter... probably less tourists then. Well, I should start planning it.

Я, конечно, люблю побыть один, но не очень представляю себя, живущем в этих домах постоянно.
Но эти ландшафты, это небо ...
This was very close to the lighthouse of Vic, it is a high cliff, entering the ocean. You can't imagine the force of the wind, I could barely stand on my feet at some moments :))) I suspect that's why there is soil covering some of the walls of that house. Stunningly beautiful landscapes and seascapes all around, though and one could see both the sunrises and the sunsets from there too. Living there would be extreme for true...
