Life Isn't Always Perfect, But You Can Always Choose to be the Best Imperfect Version of Yourself
The world often pushes perfection and the idea of obtaining perfection at us, but the honest truth is that life is no where near perfect.
Life is a confounding and beautiful mess of imperfections, and that is the beauty of living it.
So why is it that the world around us attempts to push us into mold of false perfection and tell us what all we have to do to achieve it-- and why do we sometimes choose to listen?
Perhaps because the idea of obtaining perfection can convince us that we are gaining stability and overall happiness.
Perhaps because achieving perfection in life is highly looked upon, whereas having any kind of imperfection is not as much.
Yet where is the freedom and spontaneity in a world full of perfection?
Where are the joys of overcoming hardships and unique imperfections that make us into the beautiful individuals that we are?
In all reality, perfection is simply an illusion.
Maybe instead of focusing so much on how we can be more perfect, we could embrace our imperfections more and realize how they set us apart and make us into the unique individual that we are.

While the world attempts to convince us that we have to be some certain way and that we need to be perfect, the reality is that we truly can never attain perfection--and that is alright.
You can always aim to be the best version of yourself, but that is much different than aiming to be a perfect version of yourself.
The choice of being the best version of yourself also includes choosing to embrace the imperfections that form you into who you are and who you are becoming.
Pursue the dreams you hope to achieve, keep searching for ways to constantly improve, and allow yourself to be the best imperfect version of yourself 💫 💗
