Women in Film:

Creating female driven content means having a strong female team behind the scenes as well. I am so pleased to announce that Courtney Deelen will be helping to produce this short film full of personality.

Courtney and I met when we acted together in the Feature Film Becoming Burlesque that just completed a Theatrical Release across Canada! Since then we have stayed in touch and I have seen how Courtney can produce, act, direct and get shit done! She is a badass babe I'm so proud to have on our team.

Additional Updates:

-Meeting with ACTRA today (the Canadian Actor's Union) to go over Co-Op agreements and making sure we have all of our paper work done by November 10th. 

-Location scouting will really kick into gear this weekend. 

-Found some leads on prop rentals and friends who have 1950's things. It will be a process of gathering 1950's props and then most likely filling up the trunk of my car. Literal tickle trunk.

-One dream prop I would love to find is a 1950's version of the Kit Kat clock. There are some more modern ones with embellishments but the 1950's one has no bow tie as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxFncHSE_hA
