That is a nice drawbridge, and not very scary! The reason I said scary is that I once worked in New Orleans and had to drive across this huge tall drawbridge every day. My imagination always took the better part of me and gave me nightmare every night :-(
Aha, I can see where you are coming from. These bridges tend tot get a bit slippery when it gets wet.
i like to think the Dutch know how to build their bridges. So I just have faith in Dutch engineering. But abroad I have seen some sketchy bridges!
