Every year there is a light festival held in Amsterdam during the shortest days of the year. Artists set up interesting art over the city and there are two different routes to view them. Either by boat over the canal or by foot.

I started with a Nikon D3300 and a 18-105mm lens, this lasted me for a year and was a perfect starter camera. When you learn more over time you can look into other cameras

I really enjoyed working my way back and forth through my feed to see this set of images. Here in Southern California, every city with a harbor seems to have a “festival of lights” where the boats are decorated, sometimes with a theme. I tried taking some pictures but it was challenging, night shots of lit boats in motion. You did a great job sharing the beauty of Amsterdam’s Light Festival. Thanks!
