On my way home from Lake Bohinj yesterday (https://steemit.com/photography/@johannpiber/short-but-beautiful-kurz-aber-schoen) I was looking for this gorge near Bled ... and I found it 😉 | Auf meinem gestrigen Nachhauseweg vom Bohinjsee (https://steemit.com/photography/@johannpiber/short-but-beautiful-kurz-aber-schoen) habe ich mich auf die Suche nach dieser Schlucht in der Nähe von Bled gemacht ... und ich habe sie auch gefunden 😉 |

The parking lot was completely empty and no one was at the entrance - the way into the gorge was open 😉 Over a wooden walkway I arrived quickly at a bridge, where I took these pictures. | Der Parkplatz war komplett leer und auch beim Eingang ist niemand gewesen - der Weg in die Schlucht war frei 😉 Über den hölzernen Steg bin ich schnell bei einer Brücke angekommen, an der ich diese Fotos gemacht habe. |

Unfortunately, then I had to turn back because the way was blocked by a gate. | Dann musste ich leider umkehren, weil der weitere Weg durch ein Gittertor versperrt war. |

An educational trail leads you through the 1 mile long gorge over the wooden walkways and the Žumer galleries to the huge about 43 feet high waterfall Šum. On my next visit there, the gorge will be open and I will be able to show photos of it. | Durch die 1,6 km lange Klamm führt ein Lehrpfad über die Holzstege und die Žumer-Galerien bis zum gewaltigen 13 m hohen Wasserfall Šum. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch dort wird die Schlucht geöffnet sein und ich werde dann auch Fotos davon zeigen können. |

Die Karstlandschaft in Slowenien ist wunderschön!
Es verbergen sich so viele Geheimnisse hier - von Schluchten über Höhlen, unterirdische Flüsse oder interessante Felsformationen! Bin schon auf die angekündigten Bilder gespannt, wenn der Klamm geöffnet ist :)
Danke dir @melvin7 😊 - auf der Webseite steht nur, dass derzeit für Besucher geschlossen ist. Mal sehen, ob ich woanders mehr Infos herbekomme.

This is just the entrance area - in a few weeks the gate should be open and I will go there again to get more and better photos.

I think, they will open the gorge soon. The only bad thing will be, that then there will be crowds of people there - yesterday I was alone ;)
I guess that’s all part of life good and bad often come together
This reminds me on something an english photographer said in one of his videos on youtube. James Popsys said something like: "When I go on a photo tour I say I am going on a scouting trip, so it will not be so bad, when I don't get any good photos." ... The gorge was closed, but my scouting trip was successful :)
That’s a cool saying one that doesn’t let you or me put pressure on ourselves when our shooting often whether you get a good shot or not is up to things out of our control
Right, when the photos are bad it was just a scouting trip to see what's there ... LOL
No need for a hurry, just a nice photo tour - what if the fog had been completely dense last sunday and I wouldn't have seen any sunrise? I wouldn't have been sad nor angry, because now I know the location and where to go next time :)
Very nice discovery! The water is so pure and clear! I could smell the fresh air around the boulder and running water! Wonderful nature!

Yes, @janton, in winter there are too few tourists and the wooden pathway is icy and dangerous. So the gorge is open in the warmer months only, hopefully soon :)
oh ok, that makes sense sir johann. Maybe they should heat those wooden pathways. I think you should suggest that to them, they might take your advice if they know it's coming from someone important!

Yes, that's true - how many mushrooms do we get for one Steem? You know, that I don't take drugs, but mushrooms are organic ... vegetarian ... vegetables - and vegetables are healthy, or not?
