BrittLee Bowman at Cyclocross Nationals
For the Saturday #sportsphotography theme, I am sharing another shot from Cyclocross Nationals in Asheville, North Carolina a couple years ago. I took quite a few photos at this race (a few of which I have shared on Steemit before), so I wanted to try something a little different with this one. Because of the color of her jersey, I thought the monochromatic effect, with just the muted greens visible, gave this shot an interesting feel. For comparison though, you can see the full color version below. Which do you prefer?

hi @jctdesign. nice picture you have there. to answer your question on the picture preference, i like the full color version because it gives the vibrant and energetic mood when i look at it.
Thanks! I go back and forth on which one I like best, but I liked the top one because it was different from all my other shots.
for me, I prefer the black and white version, although I'm a bit biased because I like anything that has a nostalgic feel to it.
