Champion

You will never know someone is a champion until he fought a battle. Whether he lost or he won, the fact that he fought through it gave him the right to be a champion. They are so many faceless champions in the world where they fought a battle but are never advertised or being published in any social media. Many whose jobs lended them to save the life of others; fire fighters, policemen, doctors, soldiers, army and the like.

Some are champion in the most meek and humble way like mothers and fathers, which they dutifully routinely carry out their parenthood task without asking a pay from their child/children.

In blockchain technology, some had gone far enough and braced through many challenges so that we have what we see today in cryptocurrency world. Some had built layer upon layer of hard work to ensure the existence of Steemit. (forgive me if I use some term wrongly because I am still learning this).

Many are fighting deadly disease or combating some congenital or genetic disease with tears and pain, yet also with joy and courage daily. And some fight to death for a cause to be implemented in a society or country for the betterment of the society as whole.

True champions aren't always the ones that win, but those with the most guts ~Mia Hamm.

Hence, my entry for @photocontests by @juliank in macrophotography of this meaningful pendant. It is a gift from a friend of mine, an adorable beautiful lady, with a heart as pure as gold, always giving without thinking of return, and she called herself PJVT (P = Princess). She gave this to my 2nd son who won the battle of CDH, and she said it is to remind him how courageous he is that he deserves a champion medal.

I always believe there is a little champion in everyone of us. Something called a seed of faith, given free by our Creator. No matter what challenges you are going through, do not give up. Embrace that little champion in you, take up your gut and try again. It could be the next step that lends you in victory. Sometimes we just gotto face our fear and ROAR!!!
