I went to my university after vacation. I was confused about how my classmates would react. I went to the classroom. I saw friends talking with each other in groups. I went there and said, Salam. I saw there was no amusement or excitement on their faces as I saw them. They just smile and that's it. I felt very bad the very first day. I got to the last bench and my friend's seat was empty. As it was the first day so mostly teachers didn't come on the first days. I was alone waiting for the professor looking at the faces of people and thinking about how the students have groups. They were chatting gossiping hugging each other and I was alone sitting at the side. It is very difficult for a person to live alone in a place where they are all in groups.

You only find the right people if you change and set boundaries. If not you will be bullied for life unless you grow a thick skin and are deaf, blind and without feelings.
It is always difficult to get into the group if someone is joining later the class because people already know each other and have friends. But do not give up, just be confident, smile, show that you have no problem with that. People like confident people and that is important in school and University. Wish you all the best :)
Yes that is first day in school looks like, when you start a school it must take time before some particular type of people move with you and also it for you to monitor their behavior either good or bad, you are the one who can select the kind of people you need and also the kind of group you want.
Not always you can find the righteous after so much try. Some time you struggle yourself to find the people like you but you can't.

This has happened several times to me before. But even though it felt very uncomfortable, I understood that I can't control what people think about me. And I just try to be friendly with them. Just be yourself and don't let the experience change you. It could even be that they weren't thinking about you. They could be bothered about something else and not you.

Since this is the fact I ask you: Do you have any suggestions on how she can turn the tables meaning: how to stop being ignored and bullied.
If you let the experience of people ignoring you make you believe that you cannot be liked, you create that reality for yourself. You will soon that you see that reality everywhere you go because you believe it to be true. In the market, in the hall, in the studio, everywhere you go. It's not about what happened, it's about what you do after it has happened. Knowing that you can't control what others do to you, you can't bound yourself to the fear of what others will do or think. It's their task not yours.
I know it is difficult. Of course it's difficult to have a mindset shift but there's freedom in it. By treating everyone with respect, regardless of how they perceive you. Treating yourself too with respect and stop belittling yourself. If someone doesn't like you, that's fine. There are other people who'd appreciate you. Everybody has who they like and who hey don't like.
I'm not an expert when it comes to suggestions but I'd just say to stay respectful and continue your self-improvement.
Meet other people. There would be someone whom you could form non transactional and honest relationships with.

Again I ask: what to do if you are bullied for years? There must be a way out or do they all commit suicide or end up drugged in a mental imstitution?

This has to be the fifth time she arranged her hair. I was getting tired of this. If she wanted to lose herself by trying to please the prettiest girls in class then she can risk losing me as her friend. It's either me or them. Though it's been one month since those girls picked on her for talking to Dennis. Nora had always wanted to be like them. The cool kids. She had forgotten how they'd dragged her hair and hit her hard on the mirror. I watch her as she stands up. She has forgotten who she is.

It sounds like a good story. I could say fiction but it's realistic. Sad but it is. The cool kids.. They are rarely cool just a bunch of pathetic idiots afraid thr Big Bully will pick at them.
I wonder what went wrong and how come there are so many without self-respect and self-esteem. Sounds as if that's not part of raising children. 🤔
It's a true story actually. Till today she tries to be cool. I hope one day she'll realise she doesn't have to prove herself to anyone.
Totally agree with you. It pains to be yourself but it's worth it. Because you'll feel free when you do so.
Isn't that the biggest struggle of most? The fight to by yourself and stop trying to prove yourself? The interesting thing is if it comes to that no matter how hard you try it will never be good enough. It's a lost case at forehand.

The kind of bullying I experienced in my final year in secondary school was verbal bullying, most of my classmates were always calling me all sorts of names just because I was saving my transport fare to school to buy my first Android phone. I heard about steemit but I didn't have any money to buy a phone for myself. I had no option but to save my transport fare and the money I normally get to buy snacks.
This made me to stop eating in school and classmates started saying am too broke, the girls saw me as nothing in school, they don't even care if I exist as they will pass information to some people from the teacher without informing me as well, I only survive by asking some of my closer friends some questions.
They will see me trekking back home both understand the rain and begin to call me silly names from afar, I felt bad but the only thing that made me calm was the fact that we are graduating from high school that year and we might never see each other again.
I decided to make friends with my juniors in school and I also endured the insults from most of my classmates till the last day of exam. I finally bought the phone 2022 and joined steemit.

This is admirable and my son did the same. After a year they asked him: are you poor? Since it never looked like that. I am not sure if he cared since he could buy a phone long before the others and food from home or once back home was good enough.
Thrre's no need to only be friends with classmates especially not if they are a bunch of losers.

Things like this happens all over the world so am not really surprised your son did the same, bunch of losers who behave like this deserve to be ignored entirely.
Yes is not necessary to be friends with just our classmates, school is a big place and we can he friends with other students although I had alot of friends among my seniors as I was always with them but they have graduated and it was my final year in high school Soni had to seniors but my classmates and the juniors I always advice.
That period of my life is something I can never forget, two out of them have joined steemit through me but they left because they couldn't stand the heat here.
We, well not we have a problem right now and that is that it's hard to sign in to Steemit. No it's not due to your wifi (nor mine) but it has to do with (? ).
If you use a mobile phone know that the SteemPro (SteemMobile) frequently does work in the cases Steemit has problems.
I guess it might be quiet this week.

Did you guys find the bullies?
We are not bored but server has great problem it almost did not work moreover I am just say the task is lengty as the server is in bad working otherwise I love to participate.
I know it's the same here with the server. It's since last Friday and I tried 3 days and nights in a row, kind of frustrating also because no one knows what the reason is.
I asked for a longer deadline and also a later date of the report since the report should be on Monday and no way we can make that if everything has to be read and checked. A bit of private life being left would be nice since I don't get paid to be here 24/7.
Just take your time and do what you can. The first task is not too difficult. Write a crime story of 550 words and use the words mentioned by @freewritehouse. Write offline and if you can log in you can post.
I noticed comments I posted yesterday didn't show in the evening to the help of SteemMobile app wasn't helpful either.
