My First Post - Who am I? Why am I here?
I'm a 23 years old IT graduate, born and raised in the Philippines and an aspiring online freelancer. I found this website, upon searching for alternative for bubblews which people might have heard of. I stayed in bubblews for almost 2 years believe it or not, until it's impending end which a lot of user probably have foretell. But enough of that, I just got my account approval from Steemit and here I am making my very first post.
To be completely honest I still have no idea how Steemit system works. So I am still not as fully committed as everyone is, but I will try and do some digging and research and hopefully find some diamonds and when that time comes I really hope to be able to find this community to be as welcoming as other social platform.
And if ever I become committed to this website I will probably make contents about my hobbies which are technology, anime and light novel related things.
Hello welcome to Steemit! I have had a great experience so far and I hope you do too! There are a couple of things I wish I was made aware of when I first joined. Ill bring up some uncommon things I've at least noticed people don't mention too often.

-a (nearly) complete interactive page that gives you a better overall experience and overview of what is really happening on your steem page.
-steemstats is not that good
-steemviz is a good pending payout site(does not include curation but has total pending payout including comment payouts)

-in my experience voting on steemengine.net does not give or bring better upvotes in a significant manner to make using your voting power worth it. HOWEVER...the followers gained is unreal. I gained 50 just yesterday. If you want you can use my referal link not required though...

A very informative and supportive group of people for minnows. Its fairly new but great basic support and tips there not to mention lots of contests and giveaways and love!
