The Knights Keep - Castle Oybin - Light Painting

Meeting people for a light painting weekend is always extremely exciting and fun. Traveling with friends to Görlitz has become almost a tradition. This time we went further. All the way to the border to the Check Republic. The castle Oybin opened the gates for us and let us play as long as we wanted. Huge thanx to our friend Danilo who organized all of this. You Rock!

So in this picture I got to have Felix from ferpixelt as a model for the ruins to be in the background while my friend Sven from Lichtkunstfoto.de was shooting somewhere else. Awesome night with so many friends.
What you looking at is a 185 second single exposure at ISO 320 using the Laowa 12mm 2.8 set to F8. I ran around with a LED-Lenser MT18 and a small orange torch to give the walls a second color but white. BTW If you look closely you'll find that there is another person in the picture... Let's see who finds it.

Anyhow if you love it as much as i do leave a comment or an upvote - Any sign is appreciated and motivates me to keep my work going.

If you have more questions how its done ask me please.

It is like a work of medieval era. The color is so modern. But it makes another world as classic. In the night mood surrounds the whole tone of this so whitely reveresely. That is so impressive. Classsical and calm. Silent mood shows it so shyly. So wonderful picture it is. Show us more ~

Thank you mate! I am so glad to see you passing by my blog all the time 🙏

This time horizontal wide angle again makes all visual impact just stunning. You managed to get into one frame quite lot of details of this old castle and used quite a number of light sources to lighten the walls at all the length. And finally, you quite usual trick with backlight flash works perfect again, giving very nice and long shadow with some leading lines.
Great post-production overall with a lot of details saved

Thanx man. You are encouraging and insightful comments mean the world and actually help me.
