Kreuzfahrtschiff bei Nacht / Cruise ship at night [DE/EN]

Yeah, endlich hat es merklich abgekühlt, die Temperaturen sind wieder erträglich, ja fast schon kühl, der Wind weht mal stärker mal schwächer und man kann endlich wieder frische Luft atmen.

Eigentlich war ich gestern Abend ziemlich müde und mir taten die Beine ein bisschen weh als ich von Arbeit nach Hause kam. Aber da es trocken war (und auch bleiben sollte), entschloss ich mich dazu, eine kleine Runde zu laufen und natürlich die Kamera mitzunehmen.

Mein Weg führte mich erstmal zum Bootshafensommer, wo ich mich mit einer leckeren Thüringer Bratwurst gestärkt und den letzten Klängen der gerade spielenden Band gelauscht habe. Da dann erstmal Umbau war für die nächste Band, lief ich zum Stena Line Gebäude um ein bisschen zu fotografieren.

Inzwischen begann die nächste Band aufzuspielen, was jedoch nicht so ganz mein Geschmack war. Ich hatte aber auch noch keine Lust nach Hause zu gehen und so entschied ich mich noch ein Stück Richtung Kiellinie zu gehen. Hinter dem Schifffahrtsmuseum entdeckte ich plötzlich helle Lichter - ein Kreuzfahrtschiff liegt noch am Ostseekai. Eher ungewöhnlich, dass die hier so spät ablegen aber gut, kommt schon mal vor. Ich beeilte mich also einen guten Platz an der Kiellinie zu finden, wo ich das Schiff im Vorbeifahren fotografieren könnte. Jedoch tat sich ewig nichts, es ging schon auf 23 Uhr zu. Inzwischen hatte ich nachgelesen, dass die geplante Abfahrtszeit 19 Uhr gewesen wäre. Ich fand allerdings nicht heraus, wodurch sie verzögert wurde. Da ich irgendwann nicht mehr auf der Holzbank sitzen konnte und ich auch begann ein wenig zu frieren, ging ich dann wieder, da ich ja auch nicht wusste, ob das Schiff noch länger am Kai liegen wird. Ich lief zurück zur Seegartenbrücke von welcher man das Heck des Schiffs gut sehen kann und natürlich legte es dann auch just in diesem Moment ab. Dabei ist dieses Bild entstanden.

Yeah, finally it has cooled down noticeably, the temperatures are bearable again, yes almost already cool, the wind blows sometimes stronger times weaker and one can finally breathe fresh air again.

Actually, I was pretty tired last night and my legs hurt a little when I got home from work. But since it was (and should remain) dry, I decided to walk a small lap and of course to take the camera with me.

My way led me first to the Bootshafensommer, where I strengthened myself with a delicious Thuringian bratwurst and listened to the last sounds of the band playing. As there was a change for the next band, I walked to the Stena Line building to take some pictures.

Meanwhile the next band started to play, which was not quite my taste. But I still didn't feel like going home and so I decided to walk a bit towards the Kiellinie. Behind the shipping museum I suddenly discovered bright lights - a cruise ship is still on the Ostseekai. It's rather unusual that they leave here so late, but it happens. So I hurried to find a good spot at the Kiellinie where I could take a photo of the ship passing by. But nothing happened for ever, it was already 11 pm. Meanwhile I had read that the planned departure time would have been 7 pm. However, I did not find out what delayed it. Since I couldn't sit on the wooden bench any more and I also started to freeze a bit, I left again, since I didn't know whether the ship would lie on the quay for much longer. I walked back to the Seegartenbrücke from where you can see the back of the ship and of course it left just at that moment. That's when this picture was taken.
